- WELP, i finished this a little late i do declare!! i wanted to sew a cute valentines outfit, so in part 2 of this 2 parter, i am finishing off strong with some wide leg hot pink high-waisted pants with heart cutouts to show some side leg! I used some new to me techniques, and used a lot of facings, lining and show the installation of a zipper and full construction of the Persephone Pants by @annaallenclothing

The last dress I made, I lengthened the bodice by an inch. Turns out that was too much. I tried to take a short cut to fix it which didn’t work so I took the skirt off and reattached it… backwards… 😅 so I was pretty frustrated with myself after and was glad to get the project done. Not all projects are enjoyable and relaxing ❤
Haha oh man I feel that! I was finishing the raw edges of where tiers attached on my dress with a serger, ended up catching the tier in the serger blade. Yep that tier ended up being about 3” shorter than intended lol!

Normalize being super annoyed with your projects lol. For real though, I have definitely felt this way before and it's nice to know I'm not the only one💖! They turned out sooooo cute and I love the set. I'm still trying to hype myself up to make hard pants at all so this construction blew my mind.

This is absolutely so cute ! The clipping must have taken forever, did you try using picking shears very close to the edges ? It kind of creates those little triangles you need and would be less painful to do. Keep doing what you do, you are so sweet ! Love from France
Hehe thanks! It did take forever, I need to get a pair, the only ones I have are from my grandma and are painfully dull. Thanks for that tip!!

Thank you!! Yeah sometimes ya just gotta roll with it! My natural hair texture is wavy/curly but i used a bedhead waver in this video :)
