    Nice info but why not show us the rest of the rod removal from the motor? That info is just as helpful too. Thanks for the video.

      Glad you liked the video. Yes, we may well cover that separately in the future as well as part of a bigger job. This video is specifically for people who want to know how to disconnect the rod end, for example if you will be removing the tailgate top trim panel etc. But we'll likely delve deeper into the motor etc at some point in the future!!

    How do you get to the motor attached to the link rod?

    I need to replace this rod on my 2007 dodge grand caravan but cannot locate the part. I've looked up "link rod" and get nothing.

      It comes as part of the tail lift motor assembly brand new. I'm not sure if it is available separately? You should be able to pick up the full motor assembly, with this rod, fairly inexpensively used on eBay. Hope that helps!
