I look up to him so much - seems like a really intelligent, great guy.
Not really, I went to high school with Matt, and he was a jerk. I have to admit to him being a pretty good actor though. He gave a superb performance in Dallas Buyers Club.
Jake Savins It was more like 26 years ago. Still, I did say he was a good actor. There is no game of life, man. We do the best we can and that's it. I wouldn't want his life.
+David Adams I'm sure he changed that mind set a lot since high school (obviously!). No ones perfect man, especially when their a young man in high school.

+David Adams You really went to high school with him? I'm not saying you didn't, its just I put actors on a pedestal and forget they humans with people that personally know them. Also I didn't expect someone that does to be on youtube.
When you've got McConaughey you've got a friend and that friend is you!
I wanna know what kind of questions they're asking them because all of the celebrities allways open up so much... it's just fascinating to see a glibs on they're personalities

I'm interested to find out how they made it so black in the back, and the lighting that was used?
Usually these are shot using a material backdrop that absorbs the light. McConnaughey is lit much brighter than the background (the light is controlled so that no direct sources are hitting the background) so it photographs as near total blackness. This can be further pushed in postproduction to be true black.
