I think Halle deserved her oscar but I don't think Julia & Sandra did,considering the performances they were up against.(don't get me wrong,I like em both)I started noticing Julianne in Boogie nights & Magnolia & she totally blew me away in Far from heaven & The Hours.She should've won for at least one of those.

Don't fret, Julianne has had a far more successful career than either of those 1 hit wonders. she is more respected and will continue to do incredible work with esteemed screenplay writers, directors and producers. many a great actor/actress are yet to receive the oscar. it really means nothing in the hands of someone like sandra bullock or halle berry. they might as well not have it.
