It's so weird to me when these "influencers" try to use the language of new age spirituality to promote a business scheme. Call me old fashioned, but bragging about making "6 figures" isn't something an enlightened spiritual person would do.

They just took a page from the mega-church/cult leader and religious zealot handbook. Everyone who has ever claimed to be super enlightened always ends up being a greedy grifter whose real goal is wealth. It doesn’t always start out that way but money can really bring out the worst in people even while they remain convinced that they are doing a greater good and living authentically and humbly.

New age spirituality has always been about manipulating people into paying money. The law of attraction, expensive courses and retreats, etc. At its core nearly all new age spirituality teaches that if you're poor it's your fault and you can get rich by manipulation of the energy of the universe. Even people who don't want to get rich or believe in amassing lots of wealth subscribe to this myth that you can control the energy of the universe, and by extension money, with your mind.

Omg I was in this Enagic cult very briefly last year. Shortly after my purchase, my upline actually called me upset & admitted to me that her upline who made it to the 6 figure category was in severe debt from buying fake followers, plane tickets, hotel stays and renting luxury cars to create this illusion of being rich. She wasn’t aware that that’s how these people seemingly “make it” in the industry. She quit the MLM that week and now runs her own small business. The fucked up thing is that they walked me through applying for a line of credit using fake income numbers when I was unemployed at the time and could not afford the payments. The $5000 machine isn’t even a filter!!! It electrocutes the water and changes the ph, but does not filter out lead or other heavy metals, so they push other over priced products to make up for the fact that the machine is not a filter and they shame people who don’t show up to their pointless zoom meetings. They shame people who can’t afford their 1200 dollar shower head and turmeric supplements. They are very aware that they’re a cult, they’d cheers to the “blue bottle cult” in there so called training meetings. Buying that fucking machine is one of my top regrets in life and I’m so glad for content like yours that brings awareness and logic to people who might be researching these snake oil companies.

I got into this 3 months ago and bought this stupid machine, gosh they lie so much, the person suppose to be my mentor was posting how he's earning so much money by just running his ads on social media, accidentally he shared his admin page on a zoom meeting and guess what, I was his only buyer !! he has been in the business for more than a year now!! I felt so betrayed did not want to continue because I do not want to lie and cheat other people. so just before making any sales I quit few days ago and removed myself from the system, the mentor acted so aggressively towards me and used harsh words for leaving. I said If I knew that you only get paid for recruitment then I would've never joined and waste my hard earned savings, I feel even worse for the ones buying Trifecta😞

Right? I always say that I love my boring little life. My little family, my good routine... this "average" life is exactly what's perfect for me. My sweet, calm, boring, comfortable life.
The best parts of my "boring" 9-5: I know when I need to work and my time off is my own. My vacations are exactly that and, if I CHOOSE to put in extra time, I get that nice overtime pay. And sometimes extra bonuses if I'm helping with a big project.
I have never celebrated stability and normalcy more than I have since getting sober. I'm literally obsessed with doing normal things. On the 4th of July, my fb planned a little bbq at the park and we had burgers and hot dogs cooked on the public charcoal grill and his sister and mom came and my son napped on a little blanket in the grass and we walked around the water and watched people launch their boats and I literally was overwhelmed by how lovely and beautiful and normal it was. I still get teary thinking about it.

They are outwardly "f*ck the man" and hyperfixated on how they are perceived by others - they want to feel that they are special and know secret knowledge that the average person isn't privy to. It's very self-centered, naive, and frankly lacking in critical thinking.
It's putting on a costume but not actually understanding sociopolitical, socioeconomic, or scientific issues. They're the "I'm mystical and unique and EdGy" people who really aren't any of that. They are just desperate for attention and praise. Which makes them susceptible to cults, scams and pseudoscience.

Oh, I needed your sass this morning! It's been a rough week (my puppy had her spay surgery last Thursday, and she's been having a rough recovery thus far), so I needed this. I don't know if it was Kangen, but my father about a year ago talked about alkaline water and wanted to try it...and thankfully learned some of the science about it from Brianna, so I warned him about it, and he dropped it.
And she went into DMs to say her "bussiness" is taking off. I can't. The hun logic is thick with her.

I'm lucky to live in a city where alt fashion is common. It's great. But whatever this lady is doing feels very inauthentic and try-hard. She feels like they type of person who thinks astrology is a substitute for therapy and an excuse for toxic behavior. Or who uses essential oils in lieu of antibiotics. It's giving someone who wants the world to believe they are a "free thinker", but who actually practices minimal critical thinking.

My bff has been listening to a group of this mlm and they have convinced my friend if she buys this water filter for 5k she would be able to sell bottles of water for $20 per bottle. They have convinced her that this water is charged with ions and all healing and healthy. I have tried to tell her she will NOT sell bottles of water and she can buy good water at the freaking gas station for $2. Also I sent her a couple videos of YOURS because she really thought I was just being negative. And knowing what she has been told this is VERY cult like. She has not jumped in yet and I hope to continue to educate her on this issue. Also my friend is SUPER SMART but they have been working on her for a year and a half 🤬🤬🤬🤬

I have a friend with a really bad cancer. She's been doing all the right conventional treatments, but has also been sucked into the commercial Kagan "treatment" centers. I hate seeing people get bamboozled out of a lot of hard earned money and fed dangerous false hope.
Yes! I dont understand how people fall for these things either. Even before i knew it had a name, i had a weird feeling about all of them. My daughter almost got sucked in to it works when she was 19, & was upset that i didnt believe the crap they were claiming. She was still living here so i steered her away just for YL to get her a couple years later. PriAmerica or whatever its called almost got her the beginning of this year.
