From the thumbnail, I bet the boyfriend was surprised because she used the period excuse to get out of something a week earlier and he was under the impression that it can vary but generally follows the lunar cycle of approximately 28 days, and not the 10 days since she said the same thing to get out of seeing his family or taking her turn to take the trash out.
Of course, it's not like some of us literally can't go two weeks without some kind of simptoms. Don't know about you, ladies, but i don't forget to order my period calendar from period company with cute little red clots monsters drawn exactly the same day every month

Actually some periods aren’t in schedule. Like last month mine started on the 24 and now started on the 9th
