On the other end of the conveyor is a guy on his knees who has to stack it tightly into the fuselage around him. I've been there and my back is still sore.
I had to laugh when someone asked my manager if he was worried about short-staffing over the holidays. He’s 6’2”. The rest of us are 4’11” to 5’3”. He just looked over at us, shrugged, and said, “They might be short, but they’re good at their jobs. I just need to bring in another step-stool.”
QmnNvrDyz Why do so many people object to signs of intelligence? I've known three-year-olds and I don't see why one of them wouldn't say that. To be honest, you don't have to be all that intelligent to say such a thing.

0:58 - In all fairness, a lot of men don't know whether they'll be pigs for not helping or pigs for offering to help, thus implying that the woman can't handle if for herself. 5:56 - Isn't that an earlier pic of Michael Jackson? 7:44 - Isn't the web fiber of a Black Widow spider even thinner?
Yes, lots of things, including many animal fibers and hairs, are finer than a human hair. I think the scientist at Harvard was invented for the purpose of the joke.
4:42 That's not as silly as it appears. There is a maximum weight that is allowed in the cargo hold, due to structural limitations of that part of the airframe. The aircraft can be within weight and balance limits and still be loaded improperly.

@@jaymartin505 True. For a myriad of reasons, This stat is often quoted but almost never quantified. This difference is the average for all men and women holding full time jobs, regardless of job title/position. It is illegal to pay them differently, apples to apples. 0:13-- there are numerous studies and reports that fully explain the so called "gender wage gap". There is no such thing as a wage gap based on gender. I could copy 100s of pages here from reports explaining it all but a simple question to ask....if women are paid 72 cents while men are paid 1 dollar why are companies hiring men? Why don't they just hire all women? I am completely for equality and equal rights. I believe women should be treated with the same respect, opportunities etc as men however you can't blame men for a difference in wages.
The figure takes into account all full-time wages for all jobs. It does not differentiate by type of job. The comment wasn't blaming men for the disparity. There are other factors influencing the difference, but there are some perspectives that take into account things like time spent out of a career for child-rearing etc. which highlight differing societal expectations of men and women regarding this (unpaid) work. This still, however, does not strictly "blame" men even for this difference. Different affecting factors = different wage outcome.
@@dontbefatuousjeffrey2494 I agree with what you say. There are many factors that are involved with why there is a perceived "wage gap". As I said there are numerous studies that explain why people earn what they make. However many women (not all) do not take different factors into account and simply believe that men make more money then women for the simple fact that they are men. The post in the video gives that impression that men make more only because of the simple fact that they are men (it was a general statement about male babies vs female babies giving the impression the only difference it the sex of the child). As I stated before I am all for equal rights, proper treatment of women etc however there are women out there that believe men make more then women only because they are a man which is not true. As you and I agree there are numerous studies that take in a vast amount of factors that explains why people (of both sexes) earn the wages they do.
The luggage isn’t too heavy for the plane. It’s too heavy for the guys who have to throw it onto carts and conveyer belts.
