Can you state which statutory provision regulates the addition of a new member
to an LLC after its formation in Texas?
Very helpful. Thanks!
Appreciate it !
So to add a member to a single member LLC turning it into a multi-member LLC, the only process is to amend your operating agreement?
Thanks for reaching out. It's a bit of a long answer so I encourage you to head over to our website - we have a whole blog post about it :)
You say "file the paperwork" at 3:19. What paperwork?

You're welcome. Yes, an LLC can be a member of another LLC.
@SimplifyLLC ,thanks...would that eliminate the issue of being a single member LLC?
I would not call being a single member LLC an issue, but yes, when adding new members, your LLC will not be a single member LLC anymore.
I just was concerned in my state about charging order protection with being a single member LLC
Is this for tax filing purposes?
