The guitar is typically called a double neck, this particular one is nicknamed "The Beast". It consists of a guitar (lower neck) and a bass (upper neck).
In some songs e.g. Elvenjig he even switches between guitar and bass mid song.

Framus and Warwick are both in the same parent company group, hence the combination, as Marco is a Warwick exclusive bassist

Have you not done their tribute to Pink Floyd? Can´t remember. The song High Hopes. Live End of an era. Marko lead and two amazing solos by Emppu. In that case I really hope you will react to that.

I guess this song came forth in the Anette years, with Marko on lead and Anette on backing. Floor is good enough at backing, but still she loves to play around with belted notes.

Marco was an exclusive artists of Warwick base guitars (German base guitar manufacturer). this guitar is a combo of a warwick base guitar and a Framus E-guitar wich is also a German guitar manufacturer but they went out of business and got bought at one time in the past by Warwick. so they built him this combo of the base part from Warwick and the E-guitar from Framus. for this song Marco is only using the E-guitar part.

Marko's guitar ("The beast") is a custom made double-neck by Framus (6-string) and Warwick (4-string bass). Framus/Warwick is a merger and a German guitar building company (>Wikipedia)

We call that a double neck guitar. This one has a combination of electric 6 string and 4 string bass. Marko simple calls it The Beast. They are very heavy guitars to were around your neck for very long. Usually players use these sparingly due to the weight. 🌹🌹🦋🦋

Talk about a sea shanty, Islander is one of Marko's best. That double neck guitar is one beautiful piece of equipment. In this concert I started to pick up the small tricks and subtleties kinda hidden in Kai's drumming. He really starts show why Jukka suggested Kai replace Jukka when he had to quit. If you wanna see Marko at his best vocals. Nightwish has heavily influenced by Pink Floyd. They did a tribute to Pink Floyd with Marko singing the Pink Floyd song High Hopes. Like Islander, Marko sings in his natural voice. Stunning is the only word I could come up with.

Enjoyed your reaction to this beautiful song. I have seen in the comments the usual recommendations for more Marko with Nightwish and I do love While Your Lips are Still Red from Wembley. A beautiful tribute to innocent young love. Such sweet and deeply poetic lyrics. But my favorite Marko song with Nightwish is Endlessness from the Human Nature album. It is the last song on Disc 1 of the album and the last song Marko recorded and sang for Nightwish. Another beautiful song about living life to the fullest and then when our time comes, gracefully exiting the stage to whatever adventure awaits us in the next life. Lyric video is awesome and only way to go since Marko left before they could start touring in support of the album. Unfortunately probably won't ever be played live.

I agree, in terms of music, song has a different sound to Nightwish songs. It's because Tuomas wrote only lyrics for this song, and music was written entirely by Marko. Song is good, but it feels like it should not be on this album, it falls out of general mood of album.
Regardless I love the song 💜🦋🎶🤘🏻
