Several years ago, I owned two 1951 Studebaker Champions, not Starlight Coupes just standard Champions, so when I picked up this Racing Champions 1951 Studebaker Starlight Coupe I finally had the chance to build the custom Studebaker I always wanted. I love this casting by R/C, I have a standard green version and I have a custom version in purple, yes they did make one in purple themselves, but mine is the only one I have seen. Its different from the standard in a few ways, as the custom has no front bumper, hood ornament or wing mirror, but they are both great looking cars.
