Awesome attempt. I think people underestimate the amount of food and drinks you need for this. Real food not just sport food is the key. Palate fatigue is a real issue. On all my everestings I had a large varitey of things to eat and drink. Good luck when you try to do this again. I suspect you learnt a lot about what to do and expect from your body.
120km with more than 5k elevation is very impressiv! The next attempt you got this for sure. I want to try an everesting attempt in june and your insight was interessting and useful. Greetings from Switzerland to beautiful Malaysia!
Gadgets: what did you use? iphone for the ride? companion for the map/chat? How did you ensure iphone battery is consistently charged. Did the phone not overheat? I don't wanna use laptop, i heard a lot of horror stories on responsiveness. My iphone experience has been good (plus i get to project onscreen) but just not sure how it'll handle 17-24 hours of just going and going.
I did use a laptop for the ride, the phone was just for the companion app. I haven't heard of any major issues with laptops, I've run Zwift on my laptop all this while. Phone works fine with the companion app, overheating isn't an issue.
Great effort man. Good vid too. What did you have running on your phone at the same time as the app on your laptop? Is it possible to have zwift running on two devices at once?
I suppose you didn't have to get up soooo early. Even 4-5am would do the job. I got up 4:30am, but had super early sleep in. I did mine within 17,5h no bother.
Dude... I can't help but be jealous of your weight. How do you stay so light? Ration your food? Can give some tips. I'm about your height but at 60kg!!!!! I can fly if I can achieve your weight.

Thanks. I had the Zwift Companion app running on the phone, it's mainly to have a better overview map as well as chat.

Yeah but iirc at that time we had evening thunderstorms, so better to be done before that ⛈⛈

I think its genetic/hereditary, I can't gain weight even if I tried! 😅😅
Bad luck, I achieved it yesterday, taking 17 hrs and Im 62. Next time for you
Congrats. I noticed it was like a big Everesting party yesterday, plenty of people making the attempt.
Why did you get up so early?
I didn't want to finish too late.
