Sure you can say the industry makes them grow up fast. That's NOT an acceptable excuse. When she was 15 or something she was being cast as a Lolita. It's what she's a bit known for. Wtf were we thinking? She's just one of many. 29 has really made me think hard about how accepted it has been. NO MORE. And as much as I liked Wilmer as an actor... He has a problem. Remember he dated Lilo when she was underage. It's just astounding how it's been excused. Fuck that. My ex husband, my daughter's father is 41 now. He just got remarried recently & has a kid... #6 I might add with 3 of us & he's never provided a dime. We were actually married & together 13 years off & on... That's a whole abuse sorry in itself... So he's remarried... To someone our daughter's age. The new kid is a year old. Dude was 40 with a teenage gf he impregnated & they lived with her parents. My kids with him are disgusted. I have his only daughter, his oldest that is his princess... She was all about Daddy. This has devastated her. She says her father is a pedophile. After finally getting out 5 years ago, I'm finding out it's a pattern. He's a predator. It makes me physically sick.

The subject of the new song only has me hoping she has put that behind her and does not revisit it again in her life as hard as that might be. She is still an amazing talent. Started on the Disney Channel, and now is on Disney's Network - ABC. The song 29 is amazing as the lyrics are so complicated but she makes it work. It is probably about Wilmer Valderrama who was 29 when she was 17 which is in the lyrics. Demi is 29 now which also fits in the song. She even talks about today in one line: "“I see you’re quite the collector / Yeah, you’re twelve years her elder / Maybe now it doesn’t matter / But I know f-ing better.” Just amazing.
