very good. How was your career teaching Kung Fu in the United States? Are you still in California? I would like to extend my greetings to all of you and see you if you have the opportunity. tommyyeung 4.6.2024
In my lineage, they emphasise on forward energy so that it makes it hard for the opponent to try and free their hand to hit in a chi sao as it would create an opening. How would Sifu deal with such a person?
We are here. 💯㊙️ Depending on how much pressure those can be anything from a double push to a double hard palm hit or freestyled with a palm and punch. 💥💯
I very much like this action, too - very versatile - you can use whatever you need in the moment: use a palm to hit or use gravity and physics and hit them with the entire planet #flyhimaway
@@file66 correct. Gary was showing some of the double hits on these. A palm and a vertical cheung. If you’ve ever seen his PAK SAO videos, he tells the kid, “You have to try to stop me.” And he wasn’t kidding. He blasts right through him with helping hands and back fists, ties him up and LOP SAO’s the back hand. I love studying that video.

Hi Gary
Please can you tell me what does po pai mean when translated. Thanks and thanks for your videos. 👍😊
Roughly translated, it means "pushing hand".
Sifu Gary, is it possible for future videos if time allows. For us to ask a question here and you can make a video in response?
Cyprian, this is Matt Schaffer. I run this channel for Sifu Lam. I will have to ask him if that is something he wants to do. Thanks for watching.
Sifu Lam will answer your questions, so go ahead and ask.

Peter seemed to like getting thrown around.
