Weddings Parties Anything is the band. Mick Thomas vocals & acoustic 🎸 Their biggest hit would be 'Father's Day'. Also... 'Monday's Experts' , 'Roaring Days' , 'Step in Step Out' plus plenty more. ✌️
Or "A tale they wont believe" is always fun LOL but Sisters of Mercy, Sergeant Small, Industrial Town, Under the clocks. Saw them a few times live in the 90's. Great live act.
Here in Oz, we will shorten anything we can, but if you can't shorten something, we will lengthen it instead. For example... Brekky =breakfast. Arvo =afternoon. Fireys =firemen. But! If you are named John you will almost always become Johnno. As an author once said, we're a weird mob. Weddings Parties Anything is begging for a nickname, hence Weddos. I love this song, and I actually prefer this version to the original. Thanks for sharing this one! 🌻
Greg, you gotta hear their song A Tale You Won't Believe - a fantastic true story about escaped convicts cannibilsing each other in Tasmania. Also Scorn of the Women - very poignant song. But their best song for my money is Hungry Years, just great.
Always a good day when Weddos are up and about. Thanks for the look in Greg. Another song of there's 'Manana, Manana' - just as an aside from your send off.

What a great version Greg. The Weddos is just a shortening of Weddings, Parties, Anything.
A very common thing is Australia to do this😀
Thank you!
