The Primal BOD program is AMAZING. Don’t talk about something you have no knowledge of. The program is well worth the money. I love being part of her community. Always easy to trash people. Pretty lame.

I've been following a whole food, low carb lifestyle for over 25 years. My glucose doesn't spike much. My labs have always been optimal; no nutritional deficiencies, and my weight is stable and hardly fluctuates. I'm 60 and have never had a diagnosis or been on any medication, like EVERYONE around me. I never get sick -- not even a cold or the flu. I eat lots of red meat, other meats, fish, eggs, dairy, a few veg, a little low glycemic fruit, and lots of healthy fats. How do you explain it -- it's not luck!

You said it yourself, you're eating healthy whole foods and are unintentionally keepig calories in check and ate therefore a healthy weight. It has nothing to do with hiw many carbs you eat.

@@richardmiddleton7770 I believe it has everything to do with the carbs. When I eat carbs, I gain weight and get inflamed. I was a whole food vegan for 3 years prior to the way I eat now and I was not healthy. I had terrible gerd, high blood pressure, edema in my legs and was always hungry. My sugars were always high and I was on my way to type 2 diabetes. I ate lots of fruit, veg, whole grains and beans and not much fat. If I had continued eating that way and assumed it wasn't the food causing my issues, I would be chronically ill and on lots of meds, preaching about what a healthy diet I was on.

TBH I am not sure, but I have tried various things over my life and I know what does and does not work for me. That is something only life can teach you. Influencers can only provide a guide, and no matter how good their advice or intentions, they do not know what will work for you.

Guys, you’re making utter fools of yourselves. The Primal BOD program is working for SO many people who had previously tried everything to get healthy. Candi Frazier is a licensed nutritionist who has done more reading on the topics she presents than anyone else I know.
It’s really poor form to discuss someone’s program when you have no knowledge of what is actually taught inside or how much research is presented to back up what’s being taught. Also, have you even heard of visceral fat? High-carb cultures are full of people who are skinny on the outside and whose organs are being choked and suffocated by unseen fat and marbling internally. (Only seen on an MRI.) I personally have lost more fat and built more muscle (with less effort) with Candi’s program and would pay all over again if I had to. Do better.

Amount of misinformation in this clip just horrifies me. Especially that calorie related stuff. You clearly do not know how biochemistry works. Insulin inhibits HSL, so as long as you have elevated insulin you will never lose fat, this has nothing to do with calories. Also Insulin activates LPL which forces triglycerides and glucose to enter fat cells (without this fat cells cannot grow at all). Also there is something else, other than carbohydrates which can stimulate Insulin receptors - proteins called Lectins. They can bind to Insulin receptors much stronger than Insulin itself (there are studies on pubmed that clearly shows this) .This is how lipo-genesis works. The amount of misinformation here regarding obesity is just awful.

I am pretty sure Paul knows much more about what works for most people than these two goobers.

It’s not all about losing weight. “Not being able to sustain this lifestyle” is not an option for many of us. Processed foods have ruined our bodies, we can’t go back to it, we have to find the best way forward. When you get sick enough, you’ll realize there is nothing not worth doing for your health. More of us are metabolically sick than not now. It’s not the time to defend a crappy diet because it’s too hard to eat real food when you go out. Simply don’t go out. At this point in my life, I will simply not eat if the only options are going to kill me. Celiacs deal with this all the time. Something being hard is not an excuse. Cooking your own food is not what should be hard for you.

Indirectly, sugar makes you fat. Sugar is empty calories that provide zero satiety. So a coffee with no sugar or a coffee with two or three sugars? Think about it.

Unfortunately you are taking her comments out of text. Protein will turn into glucose. Insulin will elevate but much less than carbs. We have become a very unhealthy generation due to excess carbs. She does not promote high fat at all. Her program works and her education is evidence based. I am a pharmacist and diabetic educator. The ones you speak of eating high carbs and are lean...get their body MRI scans. Likely are skinny and full of visceral fat. Since you obviously have not completed her program, you should not continue to post your verbatim based on small clips of her reels. Why don't you listen to Dr. Jason Fung, a Canadian nephrologist who speaks of the cause of insulin resistance and obesity. Your whole podcast is misleading in itself.
