I really wanted to get these but I had to opt for some bags I could also from getting inside them. Had softbags on my bike while out in downtown Riverside only to comeback with all my shit stolen and mfs had the audacity to also leave a crack pipe.
If anyone wants to know how tough these are, I got T boned by a suburban on my dyna at about 35. I sent one bag back to leatherpros because the leather was scuffed up (I run all leather) and the rest was fine. These bags are no joke.
Got 4 years on my LP 1’s. Lids shrank in the desert heat. Looking to get a set of LP 3’s. Do I need new hardware or does the hardware for the 1st version work with the 3rd version?
Surprisingly the bags don’t really get road debris or bugs on them because your legs are blocking the front of the bags. I ride with the nylon V2’s. Your only worry with nylon is sun fading
I have a set of these and they are AMAZING. If your on the fence get them they are totally worth the money.

Easy! They are a heavy duty ballistic nylon. They wash very easily.
