It always intrigues me that news organizations send out people that know little about the subject of the story they are reporting.
Because they can not have a super-expert on every matter in the world

Asking an aging musician how they get to remember so many songs is indeed a stupid question. I would have told the reporter off if I was in Ginger's shoes.
why though? obviously, the interviewer didn't mean to know how his senile dementia had been progressing, but rather emphasize his long career
