This further solidifies the fact that Ginger Baker cared about no one but himself. If you've seen the film "Beware of Mr. Baker," you'll get the idea. And I'll add this: Years ago, I attended a drum competition hosted by Guitar Center. Baker was a judge, and after it was over I went up to him and said something to the effect of, "I've always liked your playing and it's great to meet you." When I reached out to shake his hand he just stared at me. Didn't extend his hand or say anything. That summed it up right there. Great drummer, but that's where it ended.
