"I ran? No way." I'll bet he hit his head when he went down and probably has short-term memory loss. That's why he was fighting at the beginning. This happened to me when I was in high school. I had a wreck and bumped my head and couldn't remember anything anyone told me for a good 10 hours. When I asked where I was going, my friends said "we were going to get high," and I said the exact same thing: "No way! You guys smoke pot!?" The jerks messed with me all the way to the hospital.🙂
Yup, Charger was warm. The fan was on high and there was smoke or steam (or both) coming from the engine compartment. Trooper just blew a lifetime of carbon out in 15-16 minutes! 😂
seems obvious he got a concussion, something similar (minus the police chase) happened to me. I high sided my bike near a friend's house, I have no memory of standing the bike up and pushing it onto his driveway. He came out and asked me what happened and I was just utterly confused. I could see my bike had been crashed but had no memory of it. Some of the memories from the crash came back after a couple days. I'm grateful that my helmet got destroyed instead of my skull.
No, you have it backwards. The police officer who wanted to play racecar driver is the one who put everyone's lives at risk by deciding to chase a bike rider minding his own business doing 90 on a highway (oh the horror). Screw that cop.
Keeping up was impressive enough, but having the patience to get him stopped without serious injury or killing him, THAT is in a level of experience and skill that is very rare.
yeah, all those idiots who only ride in the summer and never register bikes and don't have endorsements don't have much choice but to run. Cop is gonna confiscate the bike because he can't legally ride it. If he had been legit he could have bluffed off the cop, who had no way to prove he was one of the 4 bikes who were riding together. "yeah, bunch of guys flew by me earlier"
No STUUUUPID over-yelling. Calm voice. Professional. No PIT at 130 mph. No pit on a motorcycle. First ASP that I've seen that isn't a butt. The opposite. Good cop.
One thing I've definitely noticed is that crotch rockets aren't near as fast as people make them out to be. Over and over again 130-140 mph tops every time.
The 600s like that are all about acceleration, not top speed -- he should have swapped direction on that back road once the cop started trying to wreck him and gone the other way. He opened up distance any time Billy had to slow down. A 180 might have given him enough space to lose him and hide. 1000cc sport bikes can outrun the troopers, 600s can only out sprint them. Definitely "bike season: now -- cooling down but not cold. Tons of bike chases.
2003-2004 ZX-6R, I had the same bike in 2006-7 seasons, awesome bike and a wheeIie monster. I'm surprised he got it onIy to about 140+mph, they top at around 160.

600s realistically only top out around 140-145, never mind what the overly optimistic speedometer says. And most dudes install lower gearing for wheelies or better acceleration.
@@mrvwbug4423 2003-04 636 tops at 155-160+ from factory. I owned the same bike and hit 170+ on speedo which would be 155+ reaI speed on gps. Every modern 600 tops at at Ieast 155mph with stock gearing.
@@dr.jiIIaIicecooper2587 Exactly, the cops GPS speed was way off. Just look at the flow of traffic in spots of the chase, if it's right the flow of highway traffic is nearly 100mph in some of those spots.
Sure could have used a dead deer or a couch that fell off a truck to have ended this earlier so the trooper didn't have to endanger his life longer than necessary... Just sayin'.
Or he could have just not chased him and the bike rider would have gone home and gone to bed and not ridden 130 mph through side streets. But then the cop couldn't play real life GTA with taxpayer funded toys.
Congratulations to the Arkansas State Trooper for his tenacious effort to get this moron. Also many thanks to the technology personnel that give the Trooper a cruiser capable of sustaining such a high speed chase safely.
Speaking as a rider it's spooky enough riding in traffic obeying all the rules. You become invisible to some drivers, accident avoidance is almost an every ride occurrence. High speed running from the law your risking life and limb .
If I was running from the trooper at over 130 mph and he pulled up beside me I would immediately pull to the side of the road, park the bike and lay on the ground. WTF was this guy thinking?
That’s why concealed carry is legal, So protection can be applied immediately to oneself regardless of anyone or any laws that may be holding one’s own will against him.
I think we can call officer Billy, “Billy Badass!” That was superb driving! Totally schooled the thug. Always thought I could do that job but takes a lot of courage to drive like that, especially at night. Don’t understand why he’s nice to the POS!
I'm just thinking about how much gas that must have burned through to maintain 140 for that long. Also just the fact that we have machines that can do this without vibrating to pieces is a technological marvel.
I'm no expert, but it looks like he'll be going for a diminished capacity defense. Whether it's acting (which I suspect) or genuine, he's laid some solid groundwork. And that is a great example of stellar driving by ASP and why pursuit vehicles have to keep getting quicker (not just top speed). Any less skill or power and the bike would have been gone.
What an awesome officer - completely calm and collected. Most officers are frothing at the mouth angry after a chase and are completely unprofessional - like the chase was personal.

@@redwolfexr Lmao, you are welding a weapon in the form of your bike running at those speeds. If anyone is attempting to murder people, its the people running on bikes. That was the point I made in my initial comment yet you lacked the reading comprehension to get that. Also lol, at the cope that is "Motorcycle accidents rarely hurt anyone but the rider"
That is only true because most of the time when they eat it, don't hit a car. I've been around motorcyclists all my life, they all have stories of that one idiot that broadsides a car at 80+ resulting in both the motorcyclist and the car driver having to go to the hospital for serious injury. You riding like that is like waving a gun at every person you pass. You should not get special treatment because you aren't wrapped in a cage. Maybe don't run and you won't have to worry about being a pavement salad after getting knocked off your bike.
@@redwolfexr "It is LEGALLY the same thing as shooting them to PIT a motorcycle at even lower speeds " Internet lawyer. You in the same graduating class as Harris? Take the bar three times?
That charger vibrated less at 144 than my '74 Chevy Vega at 25. Great vehicle control Trooper Martin. "Ooooh Billy Billy Billy" - Caddyshack
A Chevy Vega? You're lucky to be alive 😂
You had one of those, too? Actually mine was a '72 Vega. What a piece of 💩. Got me around for 4 or 5 years, though, before it died of old age with about 70K miles. That's all it was good for and even that was a bit of a stretch. 👍
Once again, high speed driving a bike at night is suicide.
That's some of the best driving and best policing I've ever seen.
GREAT driving by Trooper Martin, and I think a damn sight more cordial with the low IQ criminal doofus than I would’ve been.
Cheers from Oz.
This was the most intense chase that I've ever seen! 😳 that police officer was on point keeping up with the motorcycle rider 👌
Ever notice that the people running away on bikes can’t actually ride very well.
i'd say 90% of people riding sports bikes can not ride well
there it is... the comment 'he don't know how to ride' bs whenever some scumbag on a ninja loses.
@@stevewehn4581So? The truth hurts.
ALL runners are cowards regardless of their skills😂
@@TracyKimbal1973
Why are they cowards? As I see it, they run because they don’t want to pay the ticket. There’s no cowardice.
"I ran? No way."
I'll bet he hit his head when he went down and probably has short-term memory loss.
He was fighting because he had an injured wrist and those cuffs WERE going to go on regardless.
He lost the last 3 brain cells he had left in that crash.
😂😂😂
He had 3 left?
Lol.
From warning to felony in 1.2 seconds...
Literally, they just had him on suspicion of being on a motorcycle after seeing some speeding. It wasn’t even this trooper that saw them.
The Yankees just lost the World Series. There's no way Billy Martin is letting this dodger get away 😅😅
Great comment.
Charger sounds like she's a little warm...
That was actually the Ninja still running until it was fuel starved or just gave up the ghost.
@@Primus54 No, that is a radiator fan running at full blast. Motorcycles have tip over sensors that shut the bike off if they fall over.
Yup, Charger was warm. The fan was on high and there was smoke or steam (or both) coming from the engine compartment. Trooper just blew a lifetime of carbon out in 15-16 minutes! 😂
@@jdubs6510 That Hemi got to do Hemi things haha
@@JonathanPARADIS-nb5bw
Precisely.
seems obvious he got a concussion, something similar (minus the police chase) happened to me.
Got to feel pretty dumb when a state trooper is pacing you on your Kawasaki Ninja.
what a damn jerk putting the police officers life at risk his own and everyone else on the road geesus
No, you have it backwards. The police officer who wanted to play racecar driver is the one who put everyone's lives at risk by deciding to chase a bike rider minding his own business doing 90 on a highway (oh the horror). Screw that cop.
Bravo! No need for foul language, and wow what a chase!
Keeping up was impressive enough, but having the patience to get him stopped without serious injury or killing him, THAT is in a level of experience and skill that is very rare.
Not knowing you were running from a cop after hitting one of their cars is certainly an interesting attempt at an insanity defense.
Dude on bike, "oh, lights red, I might as well speed through since there's a cop right behind me"
Cop "What an absolute shthead, game over"
yeah, all those idiots who only ride in the summer and never register bikes and don't have endorsements don't have much choice but to run. Cop is gonna confiscate the bike because he can't legally ride it.
If he had been legit he could have bluffed off the cop, who had no way to prove he was one of the 4 bikes who were riding together. "yeah, bunch of guys flew by me earlier"
DA flees then resists
Great work Corporal Martin 💙
I continue to be so impressed with the Arkansas State Police!
No STUUUUPID over-yelling. Calm voice. Professional. No PIT at 130 mph. No pit on a motorcycle. First ASP that I've seen that isn't a butt. The opposite. Good cop.
5:09 Biker is 'reasoning' with himself...."Why does he keep chasing me? I just can't understand it!"
Another great ASP cop! Taking care of people!
Thought he was a NINJA....turned out to be a wannabe ninja....
You know ninja, slang.....
And so the lying begins.🙄
That biker got lucky. Those speeds middle lane with sand and other shit. He got lucky
LOL. My BMW S1000RR will hit 190mph in a little under 15 seconds.
That is because it is a shit bike, or the rider cannot operate it properly.
@@Bailey-k2jthat is terrifying. I have been at 120 on bike and that felt sketchy af. I cant imagine 190.😮
@@jimmymckay73 My bike has winglets on the front. Very stable. So easy and confident to go fast.
Trooper Jacob Byrd has some competition in the wings awaiting his time......
Nice job Trooper Martin! That boy ran out of skill long before you ran out of motor!
Mad respect for Trooper Martin. Very caring and respectful towards suspect and got the job done without using foul language. 💙
2003-2004 ZX-6R, I had the same bike in 2006-7 seasons, awesome bike and a wheeIie monster. I'm surprised he got it onIy to about 140+mph, they top at around 160.
It's probably geared for wheelies
@JonathanPARADIS-nb5bw His bike is Iowered a Iot so I doubt it was geared for wheeIies, that bike wheeIies great with stock gearing. Maybe it was geared for street racing, hard to say with 20+ year oId bike. That dude is overweight too
600s realistically only top out around 140-145, never mind what the overly optimistic speedometer says.
Brilliant work officer 👌👍
Seeing that charger on your ass while youre trying your hardest to run has got to be a pretty shitty feeling
that sinking feeling when you're doing 140 on your bike and ASP creeps up your behind at 144
bad road for the cannonball run! 🤣🤣
+1 like. merci.
The way Trooper Martin was shooting the breeze with this guy I thought they were old fishing buddies getting ready to share a six pack or three.
This officer is amazing. He needs to be leading departments. Absolute professional professionalism skill. I would trust him with anything.
No question officer is top notch. This guy owes his life to who ever has the job of keeping that roadway clear of debris.
exceptional driver, this officer deserves a medal. Congratulations.
No thinking at all, is the problem
That's because you have a brain. This douche nozzle clearly didn't.
That's some mighty fine driving officer, while chasing this guy down so you can present him with the Darwin Award.
144mph? That psychopath has a death wish.
That’s why concealed carry is legal,
So protection can be applied immediately to oneself regardless of anyone or any laws that may be holding one’s own will against him.
On a vehicle with better acceleration, better braking, better cornering….
“I think I’ll just keep going straight”
there is nothing so satisfying as watching a midsize sedan reel in a sport bike...except watching a v6 Durango do it!
"He crashed" aka "I ran this fool off the road." I got to give it to the trooper. He kept his cool in a big way. That was impressive.
I think we can call officer Billy, “Billy Badass!” That was superb driving! Totally schooled the thug. Always thought I could do that job but takes a lot of courage to drive like that, especially at night. Don’t understand why he’s nice to the POS!
pause at 02:55
when a charger can go with a ninja motorcycle you know that bike is driven by a bad driver.....
respect to the ASP trooper martin!
I'm just thinking about how much gas that must have burned through to maintain 140 for that long. Also just the fact that we have machines that can do this without vibrating to pieces is a technological marvel.
2:50 I feel like that right exit would of been a immediate disaster waiting to happen.
Must've been a Ninja 250 to get caught by a heavy charger. And zero riding skills if it's catching you in the CORNERS where a bike shines it's best.
R.I.P. that Ninja's motor. Stuck throttle WFO and you hear it run down and seize up.
I guess bro forgot he could drive through small places
I'm no expert, but it looks like he'll be going for a diminished capacity defense. Whether it's acting (which I suspect) or genuine, he's laid some solid groundwork.
And that is a great example of stellar driving by ASP and why pursuit vehicles have to keep getting quicker (not just top speed). Any less skill or power and the bike would have been gone.
Someone in Formula One needs to hire this cop right now, earnin’ those big bucks! Holding it down like Emerson Fittipaldi!!!!
144 mph achieved-AUTOBOTS DISASSEMBLE.
What an awesome officer - completely calm and collected. Most officers are frothing at the mouth angry after a chase and are completely unprofessional - like the chase was personal.
Seriously Officer Martin is a beast. He drove that Charger like a true machine!!! He kept his composure the whole time and even after the crash, he stayed calm and collected. He deserves a beer and a steak dinner!!!
Love to be on that jury
This guy needs hard time.
I agree excellent driving by the trooper! On some of those staights, I was surprised the bike didn’t just take off 170+ yes, that’s what they’re capable of. Was on the edge of my seat when they were going over 100 on a residential Street.geeez…
Trooper Martin wheel man , Outstanding job sir . Chase down a sport bike like that at a buck 40 then some . I could not figure out who had the biggest balls ,The trooper or the idiot on the bike . Both were very dangerous .
Great job Trooper Martin, I know that Chargers tongue is hanging out!! Lol
