Nice! I'd like to pick my own ripe bananas too! I knew there was dwarf varieties, but I thought they had to get much bigger than that to fruit.
Yes, dwarf varieties can be all be different sizes depending on the varieties.
Very exciting to see a flower coming on your Orinoco! I've been trying to give growing them a go here too, but they really need heat to grow which unfortunately we don't get enough of outside of a greenhouse. I'm still going to keep trying though 🤞
I have 5 varieties of bananas growing, but this is the first one to set fruit. I'm out there at least one or twice a day checking on them.
