- Attempting to beat bg3 when you over the max weight limit, causing you to have no jump, dodge, items, climbing and disadvantage on everything can be kind of frustrating.
Sure took a while, hope you enjoy.
At least I feel like Sonic running around in other playthroughs now.

21:04 that is the coolest and funniest discovery in this whole run, it's a mechanic that's just there for immersion really but for the heavy urge it's a lifesaver
I had to walk while heavily encumbered for only a few minuets once when I used barrelmancy to cheese W'wargaz and it was so frustrating walking that few hundred feet to his chamber. I can't imagine how annoying it must have been to do a full run like that.
You're easily the best BG3 content creator on UA-cam at the moment for both variety and difficulty of the challenges you do. Keep up the good work man.
Give all barrels to 1 person
Have 3 people walk to his boss room
Send a few barrels over
Place them
Send more, repeat process
Walk final character into room, no encumbered walking required
you can easily beat honor mode without barrelmancy if you choose a 4-person pure DPS build, I killed the inquisitor in 1 turn with a monk/fighter/paladin/sorcerer team
If you go to where the mace of lathander is you can fast travel for so reason
@suleyman2768 You can, but given the Inquisitor's annoying Legendary Action and the other gith who can down a character in one turn, it's a lot safer to cheese the fight with barrelmancy than risk several bad rolls in a row and wiping your team. I will fight every other battle fair and square, EXCEPT that 1
by the way you can cheese w'wargaz with just 1 character, just bait all the giths to the door to the temple where the blood of lathander is located and begin to fight, you have to be the innitiative winner but it's not really hard (being gloom stalker with high agi definetely easy). Then you hit them with all your actions and go to the temple and back again. Giths have not enough time to regen up and you regain all your actions including the dread ambusher attack because u technically begin a new fight

it's like that choice, infinite money but a snail chases you forever and if it touches you, you die. just in this case, you get nothing and the snail chases anyway lol.

About the Torch for the Ansur Trial: When you click on the statue and start the trial through it you automaticlly pick up the torch.
If you fail the chess challenge 3 times the big door breaks and you can just avoid the undead that spawn and enter

Just so you know. Should you fail a trail of Baldurain, a bunch of shadows spawn to kill you, but the door becomes openable. So in the future, you can just kill the wrong agent or fail the chess game to do the fight, then grab the helmet.

I usually play paladin, so my character is typically the pack rat of the group, so I do end up heavily encumbered a few times when playing. Even just a couple of minutes makes me want to scream. I cannot imagine the mental fortitude it would take to do an entire campaign like that. Kudos!
if you fail the judgement puzzle with the paintings, balduran will tell you you aren't worth and summon a ton of skeletons, but it also breaks the door letting you walk inside for basically free

Doesn't have to be the paintings, if you fail any of the puzzles it spawns skeletons and opens the door.
Easiest is to fail chess, turn invisible, and just walk in

Useful thing to know (this is on the current patch as of March 15, by the by): The Absolute items are a bit wonky. Some work as their descriptions claim. However, others will work or not work contrary to their descriptions. The Ring of Absolute Force works even without the brand.
I found this out when I misread the effect and gave it to my unbranded Gale (who was using reverbation strats). I later found out that it is only supposed to work for branded characters, but remembered Gale's reverbation doing 5 thunder damage. I tested it and checked the damage log. 1d4 thunder damage + 1 from Absolute's Tempest.

Maybe you already knew this, but you could've still gotten the helm of balduran. The door opens both if you complete all the challenges or if you fail any of them. Though if you fail them you'd have to fight a bunch of ads so maybe it just wouldn't work out anyway for your build. Great video btw! I've been binging your content lately and I can't wait for more!
IIRC you can access Ansur - I failed one of the challenges and a bunch of enemies spawned, once they were all killed the door was open, even though I had failed without even attempting all of the challenges

(I would have set the rule so you can go unencumbered in the camp for inventory management but must be heavily encumbered before leaving

29:23 fun fact! If you fail one of the challenges enough times, enemies will spawn and the door will open automatically! The first time I did the challenges I didn’t even do all of them, I failed the torch one too many times so enemies spawned instead of challenges so I just cleared them and headed in. I think unfortunately in your run you might’ve locked yourself out of that bc i think the only possible ones for you to fail were the pick a guy to execute and chess challenges.

Some people say a man's made out of mud. A poor man is made out of muscle and blood. Muscle and blood and skin and bones. A mind that's weak but a back that's strong.
Just a heads up, you can actually fail the lanceboard puzzle, get attacked by a bunch of undead and it'll unlock the door and let you skip all the puzzles to reach Ansur and that helm you wanted. I discovered this just by sucking at the game. xD
For the Ansur dungeon, if you get the judgement puzzle wrong a whole bunch of enemies appear but once you defeat them the door is open. On my first playthrough I didnt even get to see the other puzzles lol

You can actually get the Helm of Balduran. Force a fail on any of the other three trials and the door breaks open, along with about 30 undead, one of which has Auto Spirit Guardians up.
29:21 I’m pretty sure you can click on the statue and, after a brief conversation, select a dialogue option to begin the trial
Under wyrms crossing you can go to the library section, hit the wrong projection and you will fail the trial. After you defeat the skeletons the door will open

11:00 WEIRD. Shockingly I didn't know that, because the last Storm Sorcerer I played was part of a MULTICLASS-MADNESS playthrough (where *everyone* is taking one level in *every-class* ) so when I picked up Shovel's scroll I just, learned it as a wizard spell.
They actually mightve expected this because in divinity there was an item to make you encumbered
came for the challenge, and stayed for the busted magic missile build. also, i wish thrown damage would scale off of weight. imagine overloading a party member, then dropping them on someone
The corridor where the secret door opens when you go to get the blood of Lathander is a safe zone, when you climb over the 2 barrels
This is just torture at this point...

Another way to do the balduran helmet fight is to fail the chess puzzle 3 times, it will trigger a fight but they open the doors
not sure if you are aware but when you go to fight the witch you can sneak around to the stairs and use the lock spell to stop her from leaving therefore not having to fight her in her harder phase 👍
