    I forgot how many Internet ninjas there are. “That would never work on me because my chakras are aligned differently.”
    “It takes less than one ounce of pressure to drive your opponent’s nose into his brain.”
    “If you tried this on a combat vet it would never work.”
    Hey fellas, it’s a tool for your tool box. It’s showing an example of a control method. It’s not done statically. With training and done dynamically I could see this being very effective. The trick is to have enough training that if this doesn’t work for you just flow into something that does. But unless we’re talking about throwing chi bursts at your opponent it’s pretty short sighted to say unequivocally this wouldn’t work. Maybe look for things you CAN learn from this and go from there.

      @@ApertureFightFocused I am subscribed. I’m also a lifelong martial artist, prior military and LE/Corrections. I’ve seen things that work, things that don’t work and things that MAY or MAY not work depending on a whole host circumstances. Based on my experiences I have to say that PTK is a very solid platform to train in.

      yes it is a tool for the tool box ... but you dont use a tac hammer to to drive an 8inch spike ... you use a proper hammer ... THAT is the point the method he demonstrated is for PRONE or a 2 person take down.... what he demonstrated is NOT a single person tactic unless they are already on the ground ...

      @@jtr2087 Well said, the truth is the platform PTK offers is sound. The closing the triangle explanation alone made the video worth watching, because it applied to so many grappling techniques. There are so many variables in any given situation, you go with what you've got in that moment and that changes moment to moment. That's why we put so much in to training. I've lost count of how many variations of an armbar I've been put in lol.

      @@user-cm4op2kz3y I'm really glad to hear that. Unlike here in the US where I live, police academy lacks here when it comes to training of when to use non lethal weapon or not in a rough situation. Keep in mind that every state law is different here in the US since there are 50 states with so many different laws. And I believe half of those states really lacks training police officers properly when using non lethal weapons and real lethal weapons.

      @@mr.artist7247 no? If you're referring to the neck technique, that's only necessary if there were no other options. For example, it's just you versus a dangerous strong man that is out of control and you need to use deadly force. Again, ONLY use it when you're in a deadly situation.

      great video to show someone how to get themselves killed by someone who doesnt panic ... that move has 3 different ways to break it all 3 of them can end in the perosn applying the holds death ... the one I added to reply to the teacher is the first I would use .. as it succeeds 89% of the time and results in a silent quick death with minimal effort ... how do I know I am HAND to HAND combat TRAINED ... this is the WRONG move to use from a standing position ... it will kill the perosn trying to apply it before they can get it done.

    • @lifesabuzzwhoopwhoop
      @lifesabuzzwhoopwhoop 3 роки тому +1

      Because in real life situation the guy holding is moving those feet as part of the take down, the guy being held has less tactile awareness so would have look at the moving target then put himself on one foot to stomp.
      99.99% of the time you'll be face down the other 00.01% that hold will just tighten and you'll be face down.
