Haunted Ridge Rocks : It never lets ya down

- Took a trip back down to one of my favorite druzy mines in Missouri, and as always, Haunted Ridge Rocks delivered with some absolutely stunning druzy crystals, many of them impressively large in size! And let's not overlook the breathtaking beauty of the agate formations they grow on. This place truly has everything, making it totally worth a trip to!

You are more than welcome . I am a big fan of the agate also, I love when it gets the reddish color in it due to the iron and it polishes out so beautifully

@offyarocka it’s not the large crystals like Arkansas but there’s more quartz here by sheer volume it’s everywhere! It’s my favorite
Good to see you back at Haunted Ridge. There hasn't been too many new Haunted Ridge videos uploaded to UA-cam in the past few months. I've been rewatching a bunch of old ones in anticipation of my upcoming trip. I'll be there next weekend.
Nice, I'm hoping to make it back up again soon. That area I was at on Rootbeer Hill had some more good stuff, but I wanted to move around and not dig all day.
@@huntingrocks , have you hunted the spot at Twin Eagle Lake? I'll be staying there and wonder if it's worth checking out. I'll have my nephews with me and want them to have a good rockhounding experience. Not sure if I should split a day of rockhounding between the two or focus on one.
Not yet .. that's Eagles Bluff right? I am thinking about that spot maybe for an eclipse dig .... I feel as though I need to get out and shoot an eclipse rockhounding video so I may go there
@@huntingrocks, not sure if that's the same spot or not. It's at the Twin Eagle Lake campground about 15 minutes west of Haunted Ridge. Buried Treasure Rocks mentioned it in a cleanup video he did a few weeks ago. I called and asked the campground. They said it's $10 to surface collect. If I make it out there before you do I'll let you know how I did.

@@huntingrocks, it's not in the path of totality. A total eclipse is one of the most profound experiences a human can have with nature. The magic happens at 100% totality. The difference between a partial eclipse and totality is night and day!
