I'm literally buying that Pathfinder right now. one of my all-time favorite whittling knives is an old original Real Steel "Bushcraft" with the ivory scales and the scandi grind in D2. It's chipped a bit but I can always touch it up on a wet stone and it just RIPS through wood like few other knives. I'm SO stoked they made a folding version. Thanks for the great review/heads up as usual. Love this channel.

Some cool knives from Real Steel, love that Scandi grinds are getting more prevalent in the folding market. The Sacra is a great 5th pocket carry and was my first integral knife when I got it. The Barlow looks well made and the pocket clip is a nice addition to a slip joint that we don't see very often. Thanks for the look see and keep making sharp things fun and enjoyable

The first one is like a folding Morakniv. That's actually quite cool and I think shows that they pulled off the bushcraft style well.

Very cool knives. I think that Real Steel have always been a very underatted company. I got my Real Barlow a few days ago and love it. A very classy design and excellent blade shape.
I like real steel also. I have a slipjoint luna and the carbon fiber terra which are both great
If that Barlow had a butterfly on it, it would cost $400 because of the ivory G-10.

For the Sacra, are the thumb studs the stop pins?
Nope well I don’t think so I’m sure there’s a cutout in the back of the blade the the crossbar lock goes into. Then again I might of dreamt that so don’t take my word for sure as they do look like they do. Come on Jerad put the man and my sponge of a brain out of our misery 🫵👍
I like the first knife, but i dont think many serious bushcrafters are going to take a folder. The Sakra looks cool, but wish theyd have gone with something other than D2. 14C28N wouldve been awesome.
Real steel has a thumb stud problem. They have multiple models where the studs are just like that. They work but aren’t great. The slip joint shape reminds me of your two sun slippie.
I think every heavy duty folding knife must have triad lock locking system...if not, is just another normal folder for fruit, paper cutting...

What do u think about the Viper Novis, or the damned designs wraith 14C28N, ethr any good, also do u know of any other like Kizer just did the tangram Orion and Santi fe budget knives didn't know about them until seen them on ur videos well the Santi fe was the Orion wasn't idt but loved it even more an don't currently have a flipper yet an want to get one, got the Qsp bluejean Micarta, houge deka Gen 2 green Micarta scales, mountain exclusive cjrb pyrite, Kershaw 2050 cheaper knife, an just got Para 3 Camo with Stonewash blade n clip waiting on it yet, but want great knives that call out to me unique like giant mouse ace biblio but desided to get the Para 3 instead but don't care for knives any bigger then 3.2 love titanium Micarta an wire clips not that into G10 or carbon fiber since ant got one to experience it as of yet, thxs love n learn alot from u 🙏🏻 also any videos on full titanium 100-200 range

Those first blades look like kizer escort rip offs hahaha... damn near same blade shape
It's a cookie cutter blade shape. Meaning that makers have been utilizing that exact blade shape for hundreds of years, and it has essentially been around so long that no one person can pinpoint its origins. Every single design utilizing a saber ground scandi with a tapered straight back after the first one ever created, have technically "copied" this blade shape. Just like how the Benchmade Bugout didn't invent the drop point, or how the QSP Penguin didn't invent the sheepsfoot, yet both are still considered original designs.
Considering every blade shape has come from the ideas of someone else previously, only an actual clone that intentionally mirrors a design 1 to 1, and has copied logos/brand markings from another company, should be called out as copies and IP thieves. Everything else is pretty much fair play.
