      Many people already have high tech consumer products made in China - their iPhones!!!
      If China can mass produce reliable iPhones, you know they will be going after the auto market with full force!!!
      Remember, China has 4X our population! That means for every 1 engineer we have, there are 4 in China and maybe even more! Given the sad state of affairs of our auto industry, what do you think will happen when you have a ratio of 1:4??!!!

    It's telling that Japan and S Korea aren't putting up these massive tariffs on Chinese cars. That's because they have confidence that their domestic car companies can handle the competition and that this competition will make their domestic companies stronger.
    The US *knows* that their domestic car companies are crap and can't conceivably innovate their way past China. Hence the tariffs.

    US car companies were making like $6 billion annually from the China market. China also have very cold weather. I have not heard they have issues. Japan and Korea really don't have any say since they are not sovereign nations. China is the biggest car market in the world. EVs only account for about 5%. It will be more affordable for the rest of the world if US wants to ban Chinese EVs. EVs are cheaper and cleaner. And you can generate electricity even if you don't have coal or oil.

    As of now, the United States is not ready for any kind of transition to electric vehicles. We never put in the investment. Unlike China in China, you can roll over a platform while drivi. Press on your brake and it will change the battery for you. Same with vehicles that take gasoline. They have robots pumping gas into your vehicle. They also have charging infrastructure everywhere. Where is the United States for some reason? It's still years behind as always. But Hey, we can build more war items such as bombs and missiles. But we can't put real investment into this country to get simple things like high-speed rail.

    "Tesla's competition isn't coming from the US, it's coming from China".. & 100s of various EV factories sooner than people realize. Sandy Munro quotes a few years ago. 👍 He was Ford's top motor engineer for decades & he's non bias about reverse engineering and shares why Tesla is alien technology and the instant assembly line changes improvements are made on average 27 times per week.. plus more accurate predictions about China's modernization is surprising.
    It's not only China's population = almost 5 x more people. It's simple traditions & virtues which proves best life long results 🤔 that means more average disciplines and patience which is honestly simply more effective & efficient and people are more cooperative too. 😊
    Personally, knowing Chinese friends, it's possible that in the near future, people can buy LEGO types of make your own types of EV for your family or your business as we already see many types of parts anyone can already buy online to assemble together in the US.
    Many weekend car hobby shows enthusiasts have been able to grow public interests in home made projects same as many of us have been known for 😊
    Good luck to everyone 👍

    Young Americans order their drug of choice via dark web from China. Quality is good, price is competitive. Fentanyl from Mexico is on high demand as well. Reliable trading partners is a positive thing and Americans are so cosy that they always end up with the best price to quality ratio. Will they do the same with EVs as well?

  • @LiveHappy321
    @LiveHappy321 15 днів тому

    Same ole play China runs - go into a country and subsidize the pricing and drop it to a point where others will leave the market. Once that happens - raise prices back up and use the newly created dependency as leverage on said country. The countries and companies who work with them make money at first until China steals their IP and market. There are so many things countries have literally stopped making and import from China. These things are taken for granted but could really be crippling to society if China were to pull the rug out from underneath. States need to be smarter and diversify imports. Some companies are already pulling out from China and moving to multiple other countries like Vietnam or even Mexico (even though labor is more costly there)

    • @kamsunleong6648
      @kamsunleong6648 15 днів тому

      You sound like a broken record. China steals IP.
      The Chinese are far ahead of anyone else in green technology. So much so the German automakers VW and Audi are investing heavily in Chinese ev tech. They know where the innovation is happening, and it's not back home. Detriot is a dinosaur. What innovation is coming from the Big Three? Who wants to steal their old tech. They cannot compete but blame the competition for unfair practices and govt subsidies, when they have been bailed out many times themselves. Yes they will survived under the 100% tariff protection. They will keep churning out overpriced junk gas guzzlers as they always do.
