I am getting fed up of air popped popcorn ots difficult to flavour and its not the proper way this is stick some coconut oil and the special powder and bang you have real 80s style popcorn 🍿
What model is this machine? Is it Gold Medal 2388 Commercial Popcorn Machine-Red, 8-oz.? The movie theatres don’t put the oil in the kettle because the oil burns. My concern is if once the popcorn pops in the at home machine like in this video will the popcorn be hard. I want as close to the movie theatre popcorn as possible. Microwave popcorn doesn’t pop as well as kettle popcorn
I bought my machine at a garage sale and didn't know about the packets. I used normal popcorn kennels and liqud popcorn butter I ordered from Amazon and experimented until we all agreed on the recipe.
I have found two issues with mine. 1. Even when fresh fresh it doesnt taste that hot and 2. Its a bit soggy. Should i try adding the oil first without the kernels?
@@mannymacias627 over last 2 months I’ve perfected my recipe! I use double the amount of oil the machine recommends, about 3 tbsp for 2/3 cup of kernels. I use peanut oil so it can get really hot and not be smoky. Step1) add oil and turn on machine Step 2) turn on stirring button Step 3) add kernels, leave the lid flap open so they don’t steam. Step 4) once it kinda sounds like they might pop, slap the flap down so oil and kernels don’t pop all over the place. Step 5) Enjoy Edit: I also wanted to add I really like the mushroom popcorn and the baby white popcorn from Amish country popcorn. The baby white is fun and small and super crunchy. The mushroom is nice and big and fluffy with a little crunch.
I love popcorn! Practically every night im snacking on some while watching Seinfeld. Great video thanks. By the way what brand, make and model is this popcorn maker?
Depending on your budget I would go with the great northern popcorn machine…. Or the cuisine-art one at Costco (during the holidays) if you don’t have a lot of space…. But if you have the space and budget… cretors or gold medal are the best commercial grade…. The stir crazy or whirleypop are best if you want to be able to keep it in a cabinet….. the method of popping is all similar…. The best way to use any of the above though is to use the premade packets… if you still want to buy your ingredients separately at least invest in Flavacol… sorry for the LONG explanation But if all else fails and all of that is still too much effort… Costco brand microwave, popcorn is hands-down the best popcorn I’ve ever had
Hi, I was wondering if you can let me know where you get your supplies from. We run a Party Hire business in Australia. I'd like to get find an Australian supplier if possible of the 3-in1 Packs you use in the video. We are currently using loose ingredients and need to measure up before we send the machine out, which is a bit of a pain. TIA
I have the same one and I got 2 jars of popcorn for the machine but when it's ready it doesn't turn to yellow color. Do I have to soak them in the butter oil before putting it in the machine ?
This 8oz. popper looks like my recently received Great Northern Foundation Vintage style popper with cart. Do you use machines with carts and so can you provide some info on assembly of the storage unit with shelf? I am having problems getting the info I need from the mfg of this product. The shelf sides don't stay attached to the bottom and the assembled sides come off the bottom/shelf when the cart is moved even though the shelf is bolted to the long and short sections of the cart/stand frames. Can anyone help on this?
If you are talking about the gear up at the top on the ceiling, it could be the plastic part that holds the two gears in line is cracked. It happened to me Found a new piece on online.
If you want taste like a theater, don't use salt. Use Flavacol, which is cheap and easy to get online. You put the Flavacol in with the seeds and oil. You can sprinkle more on the finished corn if you want. But that's the salt you want to use. It also colors the corn orange. If you don't want the color, there is a Flavacol without the color. It's natural orange color, totally safe.
you shouldn't use any kind of sugar in the kettle, it can burn. Keep a stock pot and a portable burner nearby that you can transfer popcorn to , then bag it
I am just about to buy this from another person but the cord that come out off the machine to plug to the wall it’s a female. Am I missing something? Can someone show me how yours plugs to the wall? Thanks
Boss told me to work the machine, I didn't know how, now I do, thank you
same here for today 😂
