Ok guys so how about a video on what tires you recommend for xc racing on the fourstroke?!?!? I’ve never heard so many varying opinions on a tire. Some say the barzo is the best overall tire and others the absolute worst. They’re not that heavy. Around 659 grams 2.25? Tell us. We need to know what tires????!!

BMC used to have an aluminum frame fourstroke fs03, a fourstroke fs02 with aluminum rear triangle and an fs01 with a full carbon frame. Now they’re all the same full carbon frame (fs01) and the one, two and three are for the equipment that it has on it. A little confusing for sure…

Sweet bike. Having trouble determining sizing and don’t have a BMC dealer near me. I am 5’ 11 and favor the reach of a large but my saddle height from the center of the BB to top of my saddle is only 730mm. Would I have enough (or rather too much) seat post on a L to work? Thanks!
Hey Ryan! Based on what you have mentioned, I would put you on a large, which is what I ride at 6'0". Lance (also in the video) is about an inch shorter than you, and he is on a large as well. You shouldn't have an issue with the seat post, but we do have a teammate who successfully shortened his seat post to accommodate his fit. Great review. I would recommend a BMC Speedfox or other bigger travel mountain bikes for most people unless you are a dedicated racer. They are just more stable, nicer riding and more fun.
