      I get that too, the audio levels some to change at like the 3 minute mark too. Is your video also choppy like it’s 20fps instead of 24 or 30?

      Yeah the levels are all over the place, and there's some weird filter artifacts going on too with echo dipping in/out.

    I have to say good job PB, this is the perfect team for XC/DC field test. Sarah, Levy, and Matt seem to really "get it".

    proprietary anything on a mtb to me is a no go. I like to have parts available to swap in and out as needed because it will break, even on an XC bike that isn't seeing too much rough stuff

      I rented a fatbike with levels and only 160 rotors on it, and rode a snow packed DH trail and the best way to describe it was they were giving polite suggestions to the bike to maybe consider slowing down haha (I'm also used to XT 4 pots and 203s at both ends). Was basically holding on and praying to the bike gods that the tires didn't find powder on that section haha

    Man this proprietary shit is bad. I have raced xc on many bikes and i absolutely despise useless trickery and proprietary things, I don't want to wait weeks to get part X. At he moment I ride a previous gen spark upgraded to 120mm and I don't really see a bike that can replace it. At least the new spark is more appealing than this but still a lot of integrated mess and useless non adjustable le cockpit.
    The bmc color is nice.

      @@johnr5001 I have 2 years and 3k+ trail miles on my Spur and I couldn't be happier with the bike! The new Element is a great bike, too, no doubt. The Spur and the Element are so close in geo/weight that you can't go wrong with either. 130mm fork travel on the Element is a plus but 120mm on the Spur hasn't slowed me down at all. The Spur is FAST! I prefer the sharp lines and color options of the Spur over the Element. Spur also has a threaded BB vs. that creaky PF BB on the Element. 😁🤜🤛

    • @johnr5001
      @johnr5001 Рік тому

      @@daved2023 The spur really pushed the limits of what a dc bike can be for sure. The element just does everything better. It's lighter, has adjustable geo, a rear pivot, slacker hta, steeper sta, has a udh and actual bearings for it shock mounts.
