Glad to hear that your puncture wound isn't infected - I knelt on a thorn from the hawthorn trees on my property as I was trying to weed underneath them. Within hours it had swelled up and I went to the dr first thing next morning for antibiotic.
That's too bad that there's an invasive species out in the middle of nowhere!! I'm in the midwest and we fight several around here - I help out trying to get them out of nature preserves, but I have them around my house too. Japanese honeysuckle is very viny and as I'm pulling it I think to myself - battle of the invasive species! as I am one too, in this region of the world!

I'd think I,'d buy a clue and vacate any area that was trying to murder my feet!
