A great light, very good quality and easy operation and all for around Euro 90 ($100). I also got the Fenix GL19R which has 11,000 candela and 1,200 lumens and can be charged without removing the battery, you can't go wrong with either of them and to me they outperform the TLR8 & Balder S I have.
While it’s true that this is their first weapon-specific light, they’ve had gun mounts and remote switches available for years. I had one on a shotgun and one on an AR, and they worked perfectly.
As a longtime dedicated Surefire guy, I decided a few years ago to venture out & give some of the newer options a workout. Olight was the first followed by the Fenix. As far as the perceived quality, feel & finish the O light was very nice but you would be hard pressed to tell the difference between a Fenix & a Surefire. At first I liked the convienence of the magnetic charger until I realized they are non servicable sealed batteries in my PL Pro. In the end I have no issue with removing the battery & using a Type C connecter but a outside port would be the better choice in this situation. As this is a pre production sample maybe they will address this , probably saving for the improved Mk 2 version. I makes these comments as a retired SFG 18 Bravo for what it is worth.
So glad Fenix finally got in the weapons light came. Their products are top notch they have been my go-to for 12 years and will be until I die. Nice look brother thanks
Thank You Sir! I like the option to remove the battery and swap while recharging. I see how the battery chamber makes the light thicker. Also, the laser option seems good. 👍🇺🇸 #22aday

- yes. It’s a very good light too. I have a review of it on the channel as well

I like it! They did a really good job on this. Thanks for showing it.
- It’s a pretty incredible light at the $130 price. I honestly thought it was going to be over $200
If the activation switch catches, Can the light not be mounted so close to trigger guard ?
- it fits different on every pistol.
Why would you from the controls, when it would be way easier to just shave down the trigger guard?
- IMO, it’s way easier to take a dremel to the controls plus I’d rather alter it versus my $600 pistol
Looks like a compact all in one unit.

The laser can really hold the zero?
- I only have about 300 rounds through the pistol with the laser on it and yes, it has held zero without any issues
