Tabu is one of my all-time favorites, and it's overlooked and under-rated these days; there are some really bizarre reviews of it on Fragrantica, apparently based on it's low price, but to me it is as elegant and romantic as their ads from the 1930's. Buy a bottle and store it away in a cool, dark place for 5 years, and it will smell even better.
Hello willow, I've just discovered perfumes by Milton Lloyd, they are based in the U.K. and have been around since the eighties. Would you consider doing a review on them. I found them when looking for a less expensive perfume similar to my fav, Chanel no 5. I was pleasantly surprised when I tried their version named Vogue and it's incredible and has great sillage and lasts all day. Just a thought. Ty for your vids to bring to us.😃👍🏼🇬🇧
Thank you very much for mentioning Milton Lloyd - I live in England and I never heard of them. After Googling their fragrances, I'll definitely try them.
I believe that the original vintage Emeraude was a much darker green than the modern version, so it better resembled real emeralds. Some of the old bottles themselves were cut to look like cut, square emeralds.

I love red door
I love Red Door, and another similar one to that is Diamonds and Rubies from Elizabeth Taylor that is a nicely done rose vanilla spiced fragrance.

I would love to see you review some more 'drugstore classics' that are still out there like Ciara by Revlon, Jovan Musk, White Shoulders and others.
It's odd to me that Emeraude was named and colored green when it isn't particularly green. I don't get the connection to emeralds.

@@willowschafer I agree. In the 1970's, the juice was darker and the bottle was designed like a gemstone. Nowadays, it's colored like a peridot.
