I HAVE AN ERROR IN PCSX2, after giving the stock for the raft to kairi, in the cinematic when donald and goofy get in the gumi, text is corruted. then when sora sees the storm in his room the game freezes and the text shows what to get for the raft.
I dont know how to fix it, and there is a delay in some cinematics, where after characters phrases the cinematic stops for one sec

I've been playing through this but now im at monstro. and for some reason the game freezes during a cutscene. (the cutscene where pinocio looks at the whale entrance)
any idea how to fix this?

for anyone who also has this problem:
Load from a memory card (not a saved state), set clamping of EE and VU to full and extra+preserve sign and maybe try changing roundmode to nearest too

@@WhiteGazza From my past experience you can switch the settings back until you find that the game freezes again. The safest way is of course, to have all the emulation settings at default (no speed hacks etc), but for a lot of people this will slow down their game.

one question after download, this 60fps patch or cheat speed ups on cutscenes too (audio to fast)? or works fine, 60fps with no broken sound speed?
no broken sound speed because it will automatically revert back to 30 fps in every area that is broken by the 60 fps
i backported the cheats that Michael P made for the NTSC\U version of the game
Hey, I don't know if anybody else is having this problem, but it seems like the .iso for the Japanese audio is broken. Just after you beat the first miniboss and sora wakes up on the beach and looks out at the ocean, it freezes (ambient audio continues, but everything else stops). I tried everything I could think of before switching to the English iso and it just worked. Don't know if I'm having a crazy specific problem or if it's for sure the file that's broken, but I thought I'd point it out.

I have a question, how do you activate the Texture patch? I am new to this and i just downloaded the Jap iso file, copied the 60fps and subtitles .pnach file into the cheats folder and ran Pcsx2 in 16:9 at my screen's resolution, yet it doesn't look nearly as good as in the video, do i have to do something else or did i miss something?
John Cáceres the textures are premodded in the iso. Beware that I might've messed up something on destiny islands so you might need to play that part with the eng dub. Anyways you might'vd mixed up window resolution and gdsx resolution. The former changes the size of the pcsx2 window, the latter (under video plugins gdsx settings) changes the game's resolution. Set it at 3x/4x/5x native (depending on your pc)

The mod didn't work when I entered the game, even though I turned on the cheats up but still lagged and lost fps down to 30 when many characters or buildings appeared in the frame, the animation of the game wasn't HD either like video, please help me.

Rogério Silva if you have the official release documents/pcsx2/cheats. If you have a developer build then in installdir there's a cheat folder aswell (if in doubt, put it in both). Then, enable cheats in pcsx2

japanese or eng iso? If it doesn't work, try the other one. If all fails, play that part on a true original final mix iso (not downloadable from my links) and beat that part, save, then reload WITHOUT quick save/quick load and switch over

1) When i defeated kurt siza it didnt give me the ansem report 11 neither the abilitie zantetsuken, idk why.
2) I reach lv 100 and then i was going to fight ansem in desnity island, but again the text in a cinematic was glitched and the text staid in the gameplay, i tried to change the configuration but nothing. And sometimes some texts are out of the boxes when i obtain an object or something else
I've not a graphic card and i use the direct11 SOFTWARE congif, otherway it goes lagged

Quick question. The floating text that is supposed to show up when selecting weapons to take and leave is invisible or not present. Did I do something wrong?
Colton Vines never heard of this one 😅 does all other text display properly? If not you might wanna open cheats with notepad and delete some lines regarding subtitles and text (there's an explanation for what every cheat does
I was using the non subtitle version. I'm just dumb.
So I found a way to make the ps3 version of KH1 and KH2 run at 60 fps, but it is a memory address, do you have some insight of how was the code patched into the ps2 version of the game to make it run at 60 fps, it may give me some hint of how to do it on ps3.

Esppiral V the patch is *NOT* inside the iso, is in a separate pnach file; anyhow, you can find the cheat codes in there if you open them with a text editor. More details in the pcsx2 forums (they're basically a cheat engine code)

every time i try to use any of the links, it gives me a crap ton of pop up sites, before the right one with the file, than it makes me install an extension, that still doesn't let me download the file, but instead tell me to install the extension again, can you please help me, it doesn't seem like anyone else is having issues.

I'm using the 60fps patch and it's not working. Dive to the Heart is very much 30fps. The game also isn't in widescreen, though the buttons are swapped. I'm also noticing a weird thing: you're supposed to be able to skip cutscenes in this version, but I'm not able to.
EDIT: Ok, turns out the game isn't actually 60fps in the tutorial until the Heartless show up a bit later.

Unfortunately, the game on ps2 didn't support it. However pcsx2 offers a few workarounds: try state saving (f1 to save, f3 to load, f2 to change save slot), or try turbo-mode with Tab (to uncap framerate in turbo mode press f4)
im getting an error message that is saying DUALSHOCK 2 analog controller is not inserted in controller port 1.

Maksimum are you sure you're using the right iso? You must use mine, as it's the only one that's translated

are you talking about kh2, right?
anyway you put the widescreen patch you desire (60fps/30 fps/ X and O swapped or not) in your documents/pcsx2/cheats folder then enable cheats
for the plugins, you go into your PCSX2 install folder, and unzip them in the plugins folder (overwrite)
to use the 2.5 shaders, go into gdsx settings

Have you enabled cheats in pcsx2? Also prompts will still show x and o inverted but you'll have to press x for O and O for X. I'm just used in the other way
why do i get some fps drop with the 60 fps patch? did i do something wrong?
Timotius Siahitaher the cutscenes, the gummi ship sections, the tutorials and the comics revert the game back to 30 fps for better compatibility, but if you don't care about some bugs once in a while you can change that by opening the pnach with notepad and putting "//" behind the 60fpsrevert lines you want removed (I for example don't care if gummi ships are twice the speed so i disabled the cheat code that reverses them back to 30)
Getting a strange issue where the textures and removed subtitles work but not the 60 FPS. Any ideas?
I did figure out an alternative, but I can't say it's foolproof. any ideas at all would be appreciated.

Try and put as many gdsx settings on default as you can. Also, cheats might not be enabled and might also not be in the right place. Try switching to pcsx2 1.5.0
could you share your pcsx2 settings? mine didn't look as crisp as yours in the video
Any other config tutorial should be the same, but what you're probably looking for is the res setting under video plugin -> gdsx, directx 11, 4x native

I'm having trouble with the emulation of this game, just after the tutorial phase when sora wake up on the beach , the cutscene just block and i can't do anything about it. do you have an idea ?

what setting on your emulator do you use ?
torrent torrent weird. Try disabling cheats then, or starting anew on the english iso, or both. Settings don't matter, except resolution setting that should be set on native or a multiplier (e.g. 4x native) because sometimes it makes it crash. Switching to a dev build might help
How did you fix the T stance in the japanese dub? I'm using the google drive iso but I'm stuck on the tutorial because of that problem

quick question, if I install this and KH2 modded iso to my ps3, will I be playing a vanilla 30fps version or will it have the 60fps mod and shaders on it?
This is not compatible with ps3 unless maybe your ps3 is one of those early models that plays ps2 games. And even then, it probably isn't compatible
If it is though, it will be 30 fps, but Final mix and translated

it should work. the eng patch has a couple minor issues like not getting the reward for beating kurt zisa
I didn't receive encounter plus after I unlocked the 4th list of synthesis items. Is this a glitch with the patch/emulator?
could very well be. If you have a save file before the unlock you could try repeating the process on an untouched original iso
Yeah, I checked kh-vids and it's a known issue. I just loaded up an untouched jp iso, synthesized a random item, and it gave me encounter plus.

red trinity in hollow knight: yes. Kurt Zisa: no, you need to use the original ISO for that.

It could be a translation issue. Try using an original Final Mix iso (not mines)

You probably used the no subtitles cheats? Or is there NO text whatsoever?

Not really unfortunately, as pcsx2 simulates the ps2 memory when modifying anything it has to be runnable on a ps2. Using the textures from the ps3/4 versions would probably mean that you use too much memory and it crashes

Should the fix work for not final mix version? It does not work for me
no, as the final mix version is ntsc-j whereas normal is ntsc-u or pal. You can backport all cheats with a hex calculator or look for their pal/ntsc-u translation online, but it's quite the undertaking. Try the kh-vids net forums

@@TheMeccio alright so after completing this Iso you put together, I need to say that halloween town is the most glitched World ever, Treasures disappear, red trinity doesnt work in Oogie's Manor Ruins, Regarding the treasure chests that disappear, These are, the 3 treasure chests that appear in the Manor ruins near the guillotine, and the Chest under Jack's house stairs, so I cant complete the dalmatian puppies.

I just downloaded the iso and the patch, but my resolution is 600 x 448, so it's really blurry and I cannot increase it. I turned on cheats and widescreen patches and I put the 60 fps cutscenes cheat in the cheats folder. I need help.

What window settings do you use? I'm using Direct 3D11, Auto Interlacing, 4x Native internal resolution, Bilinear Texture, and 16x Anisotropic filtering. Should I set the window to 1920x1080, and should I change my current settings? Thanks for the help.
Also, I am stuck in 100 acre woods because Tigger cannot propel me to the next Tree nut using the see-saw.

Just play the game through pcsx2. The only thing you have to look out for is to put one of the pnach files I included in the right cheats folder

That's really weird! Are you sure that you didn't forget that in english Libra is called Scan?

You have to use them. The iso comes patched with other stuff (e.g. translation)

@@TheMeccio Never mind, i got it from your googledrive linkds, but using the emulator, its seem somethimes are like fps drops por a couple seconds, at least during the opening video, hard not to notice it, i try lowering the resolution but this was still present. and about the ws patch, do i only need to copy to the folder (the patch i need) i just copied the one for 60 fps withs subs without swaped buttons
Im having a problem, I just got to hollow bastion entrance hall. I tried doing the red trinity in the room the with at the statue and it just goes to a endles white screen where the sound still plays and I can pause and unpause the game but nothing else. I tried disabling cheats and adding the line from the readme file that says to if red trinity chrashes the game. That line just makes the game always run at 30fps. Niether worked im guessing since it is not actually a chrash.
I have done other red trinitys without a problem so it seems it is only this one. im playing on the eng iso. Do you have any wokraround or fix for this?, im really sad I just got ot the good part lol. Thanks in advance :)
weird. I'm sorry about the issue. If you can't get past it you can always use a pristine iso, save, and then switch back
Edoardo Mecenate as in get a clean khfm iso boot it and then I will be able to load my save from the other iso? Then get past the trinity save agian and switch back to the modded iso? Thanks for the mod btw had a great time with it so far.

Arael the ISO is fully translated but a user tried it out the (ps2 version) i tried to makd and there were some visual glitches. So if you want you can try it out yourself or one of the others meant for pcsx2

I having a bug where my Journal is not registering the Red Armor Heartless, so I can't complete the journal. I try using other ISO, and defeating the armor in the hades cup again, as well as beating Phil cup two more times, but still nothing. Anyone else had this problem?

I used both the files you provided and then decided to look for some other Iso and still nothing. Though I can't find any Iso that has not been modified with a patch. So was curious if anyone else ran into the problem, as I did see that others have the same issue on the console due to the creators not checking to see if the game is actually telling a different. Because the Red Armor is being recognized to be just the first Armor you fight in traverse town. Though on the cosole they were able to just go and do the Phil cup a second time, and get the Red Armor in their journal.

are you playing on 1080p if so what is your gpu? also is there any random lag while playing on it? Btw nice video and thanks for the work
Check your settings. Don't use custom resolutions only use multiples of native res (3x native is around 1080p), and don't use large v-buffer if you don't have more than 6gb of vram. I was using a gtx 960 4gb, but the important part is actually the cpu, I was using an i5 6500. Disable the 60fps if you can't meet the performance requirements

tutorial video on how to use the widescreen patch folder please. i put it in the cheats folder and enable cheats but the log doesnt find the pnach file
Look for any tutorial online. Anyways if you have pcsx2 1.5.0 you should put the pnach files in the cheats folder within the emulator directory, then enable them. Remember to press F6 to change aspect ratios (though in game image shouldn't be stretched)

hello, can you do a tutorial how to make these work, i already downloaded and installed everything, including did the thing on your other video "Kh2 camera fov in Kh1" and when i open the video it doesnt look good at all, Im not sure if its a setting that i have to do or if i did something else wrong, im new to this emulator thing, also Im using pcsx2 1.6 since the 1.5 is not available maybe that could be the problem but i dont know.
there is no texture pack, widescreen fov or anything, it just doesnt work for me, took my time to write you this message to see if you could do a fresh tutorial on how to get this done.

Start from the basics: look for a tutorial on how to use pcsx2 to play from an iso. Then, look for another tutorial on using and editing cheats if you want the kh2 camera

Ma esiste un modo per sbloccare i 60fps nella versione italiana? sono settimane che ci provo ma non ne sono venuto a capo, trovo solo codici per sbloccarli nelle altre versioni europee che purtroppo non funzionano :S
Potresti usare una calcolatrice hex e convertire i cheats che includo da ntsc-j a pal o cercare la loro versione pal

@@TheMeccio what do you mean by lilypad ? Did you mean Gamepad ? Where can i find the setting ? I did set the gamepad on PCSX2 but the R2 camera button are mixed with the Execute command button. But when im in save or in config the X or O button work just fine.

@@chente4991 your pc might not be strong enough to emulste this game at high res, however you just need to change resolution to 3* native/4* under gdsx settings

Matt Couch I played this through and I never heard of these bugs. I can confirm the links to be safe on my end! However ude adblocker to avoid potential malware coming from the ads
Thanks for the speedy response :) I recently downloaded a KHFM iso and there is a bug where Ursula's cauldron becomes untargetable! I didn't get further as a result but apparently the same iso has a bug at Oogie 2 fight. I found others with the same problem so I know I wasn't going mad ;) Okay great I'll do that and thanks for your hard work on this.

Hey, I can't seem to get this working. I downloaded from the 3rd mirror, and I have the emulator. What do I need to do with the several rar files?
Felix Fainshtein. First setup the emulator properly (there are several guides to do that)
Then unzip the archives, place the cheat file you want in Documents/pcsx2/cheats, enable cheats in pcsx2 and boot the iso. Done!
Perfect! Thank you. One more question though, I have a 4K screen and i'm playing with the resolution in the emulator settings...but other than being able to change the ration to a wider 16:9, it doesn't look like manually changing the resolution is working. Any thoughts?
Felix Fainshtein you're probably confusing the window's size setting with the resolution setting. To change resolution go to plugin, video, gdsx settings and from there select 5*native or 6*native (also use dx11 hw)
Yes! now the texts in the opening menu look a lot sharper (though the 1st screen with the KH logo still looks blurry). Anyway, what should I put under Adapter and Renderer? Adapter currently is set to "Default hardware device" but my NVIDIA GTX 1080 can also be selected. And as for Renderer, you said dx11 but my options are openGL, Direct3D11, and Direct3D9 (which is the chosen one) - each one twice for software and hardware
Felix Fainshtein i meant direct3d11 hardware. Anyway the game now should be running at 4k but that doesn't mean that all assets will; the opening screen images are normal images, like a jpg, and bumping up the resolution only means that that image will be displayed @ 4k, but it doesn't mean it is a 4k image. I dunno if I was clear. But apart from 2d elements like that, the game should be running @ 4k
