I have those big boys with the ear molds for my severe hearing loss! My only complaints have been those clear tubes from mold to aid get kinked, brittle and block the sound easily as also the ear molds can trap ear wax to quickly, the smaller the ports the easier to get wax stuck and then your back to being deaf again! I have Phonaks and they have worked very well but you got to put up with the daily maintenance on any aid to keep it functional
😂. Unfortunate decision to use the word “snowflake” , I almost died laughing. It made the ending pretty funny. These days a person is literally called a “snowflake” if they’re deemed overly sensitive or whiny. “No two snowflakes are alike” almost sounded as if you’re referring to snowflake-patients. Nice video though. Very helpful 👍
Hi Jen, we have patients who wear wigs that use both RIC and in-the-ear hearing aids. It comes down to the fit of the wig, the shape of their ear, and the configuration of their hearing loss! Schedule an appointment if you would like to learn more! Best, Dr. Egan
Hello, my mother has a hearing loss of 75 dB in right ear and 66 dB in left ear, which hearing aid should I get for her, would be grateful, thanks.
Very informational and thank you. My problem is the ear piece particularly my right side continually comes out. Any thoughts?

What styles of hearing aids would work for someone who has to wear wigs regularly? Thanks!
