I would NOT be surprised if it gets upgraded to be a Black Dragon. Deserves the moniker due to how devastating the Quiro are and how it gains power from them.

I thought they could never top safi or fatalis with intensity but this DEMON actually did it. Not about power scaling but straight up fear factor only shara came close, unless they decide to redo dir miralis for sunbreak
I think Gog Mazios is creepier, at least aesthetically. Shara Ishvalda certainly has a weird face. Happy that unlike Fatalis, this beast doesn't seem needlessly punishing. Like my brother isn't that good or confdent but he did the hunt without much complaint.

@@anonimorevenant1297 probably wrath to, or maybe gluttony And adding onto shageru magala being pride. When it evolves, it will disrupt the transformation process of other gore magala in the area and turn them into chaotic gore magala, so they wouldn’t compete with them
Gais is up there for sure, alongside dire on best theme that is fitting for a final boss and his armor is just 👌and skill wise its pretty good for a few mixed sets
Personally I think this is the best final boss theme in the series cause Gais theme makes it feel like your not just fighting some wild animal but a literal monster, hence why he's never referred to a monster but as a demon itself, Gais is byfer the most unnatural and unnerving threat I've see in the series. He's not just a monster he's THE monster possibly the only real monster in the series.

Gais is not considered a black dragon cause his threat isn't high enough sure he's powerful but he was pushed back by modified dragonators with relative ease, meanwhile a black dragon is a massive threat that causes major destruction by simply being alive for example Fatalis makes entire kindoms lose their monster cause they all flee from him, alatreon causes massive change in weather that kill animals and can cause massive weather events and dire miralis boils oceans killing all life in it ships burn down from just being near him so he couldn't be handled with ships and he can cause massive meteor showers that prevent attacks from the skies and the guild needed to send their strongest hunters who would fail until you came along, he also tanks a massive dragonator in his fight👍
@@Grave___ Fatalis gets severely injured by a single dragonator and fells to the ground, meanwhile Gaismagorm takes 4 Dragonators (3 in the cutscene and one in the fight) and barely flinches. He's way more durable than any other elder Dragon that was exposed to dragonators
@@david_8916 Yes but like I said the dragonators are modified the ones he gets hit with don't fully pierce like the ones we've seen other elder dragons which fully pierce all the way through and deal internal damage, Galleus dragonators are modified they simply attach and explode dealing more knockback focused attacks, I love monster hunter😂, forgot to mention fatalis can only be severely injured by the Pectus being of or super critical state

he was able to steal qurio from gaismagorm, which is where it gets most of its strength from. going by risen chameleos, any elder dragon has the power to yoink qurio and survive them to gain their power. in a poetic way, gaismagorm gets its strength from the surface. and the qurio are its tool to do so. if you remove the qurio from it, it gets weaker. and that seems to be what malzeno did.
@Clifford And yet Malzeno was stated to have battled Gaismagorm in the past and clearly got the better of it. Gaismagorm's rampage was contained and Malzeno took posession of Gasimagorm's Qurios, and Malzeno's plan to simply starve Gaismagorm out would've worked if not for intervention by the hunters. Is it bigger and tougher? On paper, yeah. But Malzeno is fairly resilient itself and also extraordinarily agile. And nor does it need to completely overpower Gaismagorm, just keep it contained... which is exactly what happened. It's either that or Gaismagorm simply "chose" to lose for some reason, and only elected to go active again after Malzeno was dealt with.
While I'm not the biggest fan of how Gaismagorm was handled overall with him randomly coming up out of the blue with absolutely nothing apart from the one quest, not to mention the fact that him being the source of the Qurio kinda kills the whole vibe of Malzeno being a vampire controlling other monsters, yeah his theme is nice
Totally agree. At least with shara ishvalda there were connections on the whole legiana situation,velkhana, etc. Malzeno was perfect actually. Idk. I wasn’t really taken back by giasmagorm as much as I thought I would be. Yea the fights amazing, the armor is amazing but it was just weird. I would’ve much rather wanted ibushi narwa baby. I have weird emotions involving giasmagorm. I love him but I wasn’t like OD struck like I was with shara or xenojiva. Plus the mouth design he has I’m not a fan of. Overall I like giasmagorm. Maybe he just gotta grow on me some more.

tbf, it's much like how Dracula gets his power from the Devil. And Malzeno was keeping him at bay by using Gaisma's power for itself. While they could have hinted more that Malzeno's power wasn't truly its own, it makes Malzeno that more awesome that it stole and wielded the power of a monster whose entire design is influenced by the devil.

The “Arch Demon” was mentioned a few times before that and it was strongly implied that Malzeno wasn’t the true host of the Qurio and that something was… off. It didn’t JUST come out of the blue, it was hinted at. Also, it’s meant to parallel the story of Dracula. Nobel (dragon) makes a deal with the Devil for more power, turning into a vampire.
