Mechanical engineers are jobless because there is no growth in manufacturing sector.. that's why. Only service sector is generating employment that's why CS students getting jobs. Even mechanical engineers are employed in TCS Infosys like companies

Most of them are doing jobs not related to their field of expertise.
We're coming from different scenarios so I guess it's not going to be relatable, but I do share your current dilemma over the course of life. Just hang on and try to steer it whenever it let's you.

Too many Engineering colleges & Polytechnics are opened throughout India in this decade . This is the main reason. Many colleges have no teaching faculties.

This all happen because of engineering collage make buiseness of it, and second thing parent forces towards this field for job aspect, and as engineering is related to mathematics and aptitude and physics, chemistry and technology , that's why if student is not interested then it's like hell and destroyed whole life

Bahut sahi kaha hai sir aapne main abhi 2nd year mechanical ka student hun maine ye dekha hai ki mere branch ke aadhe se jyada baccho ko padhai mein mann nhi lagta hai wo log exam ke ek raat pehle parhte hain and they managed to pass.
Main constantly 3-3.30 hrs parhta hun wahan pe kyuki main agar exam ke ek raat pehle parh ke jaun to mujhe lagta hai ki main fail ho jaunga main knowledge gain krta hun.
Every student should study properly in their college life bahut log bolte hain yaar college aaye ho masti mazak gf wageira banao mauj karo lekin hamare parents bari umeedon ke saath hamein bheje hain udhar taaki hm padh ske .....masti mazak koun rokta hai sab karo lekin padhai pure mann se karna hai.
Main motivation ke lie apne parents ki khushi ko dhyan rakhta wo khush hain kyuki main khush .be happy ,be chill and improve ur skills
