You are right . I started from 3.3 lpa from wipro, after working 4 years in wipro my package was 5 lpa. But in last 2 years i switched 3 company and now i am getting 30lpa in barclays US. I am doing same work which i used to do at 5lpa .
I do not fear layoff at all. I know I am earning 4 times than a govt employee. For working 10 years will give me same money. I do not have work till 60. I will work till 40 years and then enjoy my life.

After listening this i feel good about my brother's placement In Atlas Copco as DET ( Diploma Engineering Trainee ) for 4.4 lpa @18yrs age
@@distractedboy3039 Campus Placement Drive. He studied at Govt Polytechnic Masab Tank, Hyderabad.
I asked him reg oportunities, he said that there aren't many opportunities out there after diploma which could give you good career, by which i mean, the scope of growth is limited to superviser level, that's it. So if you got no offers @campus then, it'll be up to you to search for opportunities in your city, coz there won't be mega recruitments. The best is to do Btech and learn courses alongside.
IT is best, oportunities wise and salary wise, but if you are not interested in it, then remember mech is not bad. You can grab good job easily with skills at hand. Learn automation and designing courses.

My CTC is 30k per month i am getting 26100 in hand as software tester it's my first job .Starting salary for it industry will be around 3.6 Lpa.
Sir if you are asking someone please verify from some other sources lakhs of people watching you don't just make video as story so that you can increase your watch time most of the points you could tell in just 5 min. but draging video to 19 min and even after that not providing correct information is not good.

1. Crack an exam like GATE. Do masters from a reputed institution.
2. Crack CAT/GMAT, do an MBA from a good college. Take up product development roles or something similar.
3. Excel in a programming language and be an expert.

I would say better take 2 to 3 years experience in Pressure Vessel mfg and apply for middle east u can able to earn 10 lpa even with 5 to 6 year of experience.

For 10 years exp in IT average sal is around min. 20 lakh, if you are going good (only metro city). This is my experience. And it's not only about salary but working in an open culture, flexible time, many leaves, benefits, employe welfare etc.
I am learning SAP MM and shifting to IT from automobile service provider company.
LOL, Product development companies in cities like Hyderabad and Bangalore pay more than 15 LPA as base packages. I personally know people who got placed in Big 4s for more than 8 LPA base packages and these people were from normal engineering colleges. Packages for people who have 10 years of experience in IT is no lesser than 40 LPA, I have many peers who have 60 LPA+ as base.
If anyone from Mechanical go for CAE (Ansys, Hypermesh) instead IT companies, You earn so much than your IT friends with less pressure
