Very nice restoration
I grew up using one of these!
Amazing finish, I've got one like it the project pile👍
Well done
Thanks
It worked! Simple Green and a gentle tap or two and it’s apart! Thanks!
Awesome! Glad I could help!
Hermoso trabajo de restauración, me gustó el final brilloso que le dio a la aceitera. Gran trabajo, felicidades, me suscribo.
Thank you!
Beautiful job! Now I’ll do the same on my Eagle oiler, without video. Thanks!
Really nice object, wonderfully restored, congrats mate !
Thanks!
Very pretty.... simple but effective restoration...
Looks awesome! I'm in the process of doing the same although my 66 is slightly different
Thanks!!
Great job on restoring that oiler.
Nice restoration. I like the way you dealt with the dents in the lid. Dents can be a challenge in oil cans, especially in the can bodies if you don't want to use dent filler. Eagle 66 cans are very cool. Thanks for saving this one.
Thanks Pat, I really appreciate it!
Just found one today, but with flexable metal hose. :Looks to be in about the same condition as yours was. Looking forward to restoring it. Thanks for your roadmap! Suscribed...
And the tiny parts kept coming. Wow ! It's a wonder how you do all this. Great Video, Thank you.
Impressive work. Amazing how well made older things are. Hopefully it will last your lifetime. Thanks for the video.
Thank you! Yes it is, I love the quality of old tools!
Very nice job Bro! The Result is amazing, keep it up!

Thank you! It has been working well so far.
Jeez, those cans are beautiful, not like today's.
Very nice work!! Keep it up!!
Thanks!
Nice
nice
Interesting design. What period is it?
The patent was originally issued in 1936. But there has been a few design changes to this one. So, I think this one might have been made in the 1950s or 60s.
ÓTIMO TRABALHO (EXCELLENT JOB) !!!👍👍👍 BRÉZIL-BR
Thank you!
I have the same oil can except the plunger is frozen. I began the disassembly process, unscrewed the nuts and removed the tube. Unfortunately the plunger doesn’t pull out as easily as yours did. Any suggestions?
I would try letting it soak in Simple green or Purple Power overnight.
A Craftsman’s Arsenal I’ll let you know how I make out.
Looks amazing polished! What was that Brasso stuff you used?
Thanks! It’s a metal polish and cleaner.
A Craftsman’s Arsenal THANK YOU great restoration start to finish been following your IG 👍🏻👍🏻
I can’t get mine apart it’s oxidized
Too pretty to use now. 🇦🇺👍
Need! Want! Have to have it! 😨
Please tell me the cleaners an solvents you used. I just bought an eagle 66 and I am about to restore mine too.
Hi Ron, I used Purple Power, Acetone and Brasso.
@@acraftsmansarsenal thank you, i didn't want to ruin the surface or metal. Yours came out great, wish me luck. Lol
Good luck! Let me know how it comes out.
