Great game! Looking forward to more! One thing, you didn't need to use a card to bring in reinforcements, as your Clan rats have the Reinforcement unit passive ability - once the unit has been destroyed, you can bring the whole unit back on to the board in your movement phase, you can do this once for each unit. Deployment counts as their movement, but they can still shoot or charge after the movement phase they arrive in. This is in addition to bringing on D3 models to a unit - however if a unit is destroyed you cannot use this ability to bring them on piecemeal, it is for restoring the numbers in a damaged unit. Also! You cannot move through terrain if it is more than 1" tall, then you have to go over or around. Only Flying units can ignore terrain. Lastly, you could have counter-charged the knights with your Grey Seer, that would have negated their charge bonus from Devastating Charge and you would have been able to strike first (unless they had the Strike First ability). But do not think I am an expert, the number of mistakes or abilities I forget to use is very high😂 Spearhead is a very fun game, well done GW, and I look forward to seeing more games from you both. My Kruleboyz lost to CoS by 1 point, my Yndrasta's Spearhead of Stormcast Eternals beat a CoS force by 15 points (21-6) in a bonkers game, usually scores are only one or two points either way.
I used the card so I could bring them on in his back field to cause more headaches. I couldn’t use counter charge as I was already in combat range after the knights charged and they’d still count as charging regardless so could still use their devastating charge
@@AgentsofSigmar I think counter charge is one of those reactions you use when an opponent declares they will charge,so you use it before they take their move, which would have meant you would not have been in combat range as they wouldn't have moved, but reactions are tricky to get used to,at least for me. It's all fun to learn 😀
@@simonjones5413I wasn’t sure so I checked the card. It’s just a charge phase ability. So you can’t use it til your opponent has done all their charges and abilities sadly
Excellent stuff! More like this please. The one small thing I'd recommend is make sure things like the tape measure aren't on the board during filming, otherwise top marks.
@@AgentsofSigmar Sorry, it does not say this in any part of the Core Rules in Fire and Jade (Terrain 15.2 says "when a model moves it can move over terrain features but not through them"). Unstable terrain simply means that you cannot be set up on or end your move on any parts of that terrain feature that are over 1" tall, they can still move across them. Terrain blocks movement (albeit you can climb over it counting the vertical distance as part of the move) and visibility in all forms of AoS 4th edition.
@@AgentsofSigmar You are going to have to point me to where in the Spearhead book it redefines how terrain works, as that 15.2 is from the rules section of the Spearhead book. I can't spot where it says differently?
As always love your content, thanks for showcasing Spearhead. We’re really enjoying it as well.
Glad you enjoy it! 🙂
Very nice, quick report! Love to see the CoS in action ⚔️
I really like this format! Keep it up guys!
Like it!
Please make more Spearhead content :)
We'll see what we can do!
Agree. Spearhead is brilliant.
The best Thing about this video is people fielding half painted models because...we all don’t have the time to paint and play. Ty for keeping it real.
We’re definitely on the “why aren’t there enough hours in the day” side 😄
Great video! More pls 🎉
Nice!!! I'd love to see more underworlds!!
I would also suggest you guys checked out the new Corvus Belli skirmish fantasy game, Warcrow. All the best

@@AgentsofSigmar thank you for the clarification!
seraphon, slyvaneth Idoneth, and more because there are so many great spearhead armies.
More spearhead please
We’re working on it. Need to get some more models ready (so many models 😫)

That's next level shit that is. We've been doing this for nearly 8 years and never reached that level of competency.
@@AgentsofSigmar LOL! Well I'll keep watching regardless.
Very nice video format :)
I sense a theme with "some" player liking rats, undead, cheese and... probably not the sunlight?
I don’t know what you mean. Now if you’ll excuse me I’m going back to helping my son paint “his” nighthaunt 😄
can they move through terrain because of tunnel or because anyone can. Also, yeah, cities of Sigmar is almost a 1000 point spearhead.
Anyone can in this iteration of Spearhead. The terrain is all designated "unstable"

I'm not sure that we are wrong. Spearhead defines the terrain differently from.15.2.

I appreciate what GW tried to do with Spearhead. However I find it to "boardgamey" for my liking. To each their own. Enjoy!!
Yeah. We're definitely in the boardgame arena. Quick and easy but a sweet hit of Warhammer
