Last turn of Stormcast: now both players' abilities resolve before scoring (there's a separate sub-phase for that), so skaven DO come back before scoring.

That seems so OP if you plop skaven down on a point and the ones that resurrect are the ones that get you the OC advantage lol
I'll definitely be using spearhead to get new folks into the game, seems like a good game in and of itself, nice hybrid of wargame and board game

As someone who has never played, here's a tactics question for whoever - would Mel have been better served picking Adrian's home objective rather than Ignax on the last turn for the double score? If I understand the rules correctly, her Prosecutor flyers could have gotten there as easily as Ignax from the center, and even if she couldn't kill Adrian's character, she probably wouldn't have died to him either, and could have done both shoot with javelins and charge into him to have a good chance at killing him and more OC on the point regardless? And it would mean he scored one less objective there, and also that his clan rats wouldn't have a charge to get on Ignax (and would therefore not score that objective at all, let alone twice). Like I said, I have zero experience here, so I am curious if what seems obvious to someone who doesn't actually play the game makes any actual tactical sense inside - and of course, these things are much harder to see in the heat of the moment than the relaxation of the armchair.
I have seen 3 different games of the new Spearhead boxes, and I haven't seen my rat bois win once. Feels bad.
So excited to try out spearhead and play my soulblight gravelords

Just some feedback: Music is a bit too loud. Also, I feel the music mismatches the gameplay. I rekon it will be better if it is a bit more "background music" but I understand its quite a tricky one to get right

Glad to have found this video... I just got into AOS and Spearhead is what got me intrigued. I have Stormcast Eternals, Soulblight Gravelords, Blades of Khorne and Sylvaneth so I would love to see you guys play these armies so I can get a glimpse of what they do! Also I hope to paint these models and get those videos up on my channel!

Looking forward to AoS content. I had already decided to finish my Sylvaneth army (only sigmar army) this year. moss is good for leaves as well as table decoration :) Now I just need to resist getting Flesh Eater Courts for vanguard. I used them as kit bash for my durkhari so I already have about 600 points. If i hadn't sold the zombie dragon a couple of vanguard would have brought me to 2k.

@@TabletopTitans …. Yea…. I did not resist. Browsing general warhammer stuff on market place and a giant mostly assembled but not painted FeC army shows up. Some minor haggling got free shipping on top of already amazing deal. ~4200 points and the terrain piece for $400. mostly just missing foot characters not in deal boxes and the new centrepiece. My formally respectably shrinking pile of grey shame is crying again.

just in turn 2 dunno if you caught it yet but heroes are -1 to hit with range if they're within combat range of friendly units unless they are monsters.

This is the third Skaven vs Stormcast battle report I've seen and the third loss for the Skaven lol poor ratbois and great match!
Poor ratbois, it does feel like a tough matchup lol
I've played a couple. Skaven can out score early, but you get punished... Stormcast absolutely annihilates them in combat. They bring back far superior models... It's tough.

Curious if Spear head worries about coherency as much as the main game. It looked like the clan rat on turn 1 would be outside of .5" range for 2 other models.

I know this is an EOS episode and I’m glad to see email, but we need to see a Dallas Dallas sheet space wars episode with Mel again now that they’ve gotten such a big boost

Been building/painting some of the Spearhead kits so customers can try out the game for free...just finished building the Cities, FEC and Stormcast ones and just blown away with how good these models are. This is the first time really dipping into the fantasy side of it, but glad to be giving it a try finally.
