Bravo y’all and greetings from Hewitt Texas. I was raised in the Clarksburg, WV area and me and my very best friend played all over those rocks at Seneca in the 70’s. We lost my friend last year so watching you guys do this really shot me back to the best of times. Great memories! Thank you for sharing and also for showcasing the best of Almost Heaven West Virginia. I’ve now been here in Texas for 36 years and raised 3 wonderful Daughters in the great lone star. I’ll always miss those majestic hills and valleys back home. God bless y’all! ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much for the kind words about the video Scott! We are sorry to hear about the loss of your friend. West Virginia is a gorgeous state! We are from Texas as well and loved how scenic WV is!
Again, your channel has provided another incredible journey! Best drone footage, ever! That climb gave me chills up and down my spine! I’m here on terra firma, sipping a cup of java, and loving every minute of this video.
So glad you enjoyed this crazy adventure! I am so happy the guide was all for us droning and even told us when would be good times. Some of our favorite footage ever!

My family and I did this NRocks activity today and it was absolutely fabulous! Thanks so much for creating this video allowing us to discover this fantastic adventure!
Thanks for showing the world my state without any negative stuff whatsoever. Your videos were amazing. When you were in Fayetteville you guys could have seen a dozen other cool things in about an hour in any direction.

Thank you. This weekend my family did the hiked up to Seneca Rock, visited the two waterfalls at Blackwater State Park, took a short hiked to Lindy Point overlook, ate lunch at Thomas and checked out Douglas falls, explored Bear Rocks, drove up to Spruce Knob and ate at the Gateway Restaurant. And the highlight of our weekend trip was doing the Via Ferrata.

This looks exhilarating!! You can really grasp how high up y'all are around 10:25. You looked high up while on the bridge, and then at that mark the bridge looks tiny! We will have to try this one day!
It's always nice to challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone! Great to see the journey :) I feel like my forearms would be sore after that because I would be holding on so hard. The bridge was so beautiful
Good job guys!!! We live near by and went for the first time this summer and went again on Oct. 9th and convinced some friends to come along for the adventure. Thanks for show casing our beautiful state in your video!!!!! Happy adventuring!!

Hahahahaha my mom just commented and her comment made me LOL! So pumped you watched this on a 4K TV! Those drone shots Adam got deserve the big screen 🙌🏼🙌🏼
It's official... you guys are definitely influences (but the good kind... I promise!) Way back when I first watched this video, I immediately wanted to do a via ferrata - even looked into a trip to Italy over October Half Term (before realising how nuts the weather would be!) but at the end of the summer, I did the Honister Slate Mine via ferrata in the Lake District and loved it. Thought I'd let you guys know ❤️
Hahahah we hate the word influencers, BUT we will take it when it means influencing others to get outdoors or try new experiences! Will you have a video from yours? We would love to see it...that via ferrata looks INSANE and is being added to the list!
That was fascinating. I've hiked up the Seneca Rocks trail and up the rocks (past the sign that tells you not to) to the summit, but I would not like to do what you did. I love West Virginia and plan to do some backpacking at Dolly Sods as soon as it gets cooler. Thanks for sharing this incredible adventure.
Hahahahah confession: I am TERRIFIED of treadmills (fell on a moving one as a kid and gashed up my knees) and I have to hold on the entire time I use them 🤣🤣
@@AdventuresofAplusK That would traumatize me, no wonder you don't like them! I am not a fan of cliffs (kids think it's hysterical when we are doing something like driving the coastal highway). There is no way I would have made it on your adventure, LOL!
WOW ! You guys ROCK !! (climb lol). At our Outdoor School we had a climbing wall and high ropes course for our 6-12 year old students. While no where near what you all did, for the kids overcoming their fears and pushing themselves was such an impactful experience. Being a part of facilitating that was so rewarding. So proud of both of you. The footage mad me feel I was right there with you (on my comfy couch lol). It is moments like this where you conquer something you wouldn't imagine doing and then wonder...well what's next
I’m slowly becoming more of a dare devil lol! My mom is probably not thrilled 🤣🤣 It is so fun to push yourself (safely of course) and prove to yourself that you’re stronger both mentally and physically than you think! 💪🏼
I just rewatched this one. There is absolutely no way I would have gone up that sheer cliff. You were very brave to do it. I think I would be good until after the bridge, that is if I was in better shape.
I've wanted to do a proper Via Ferrata for so many years. I got a little taster of one after doing some Zip Lining in the countryside of Quebec once. Zip Lined into a gorge and had to use the iron steps to get back out, but not a proper Via Ferrata adventure. Once again, those drone shots of the bridge between the rocks were just spectacular! I'm so chuffed that you guys did this, I was really surprised when I saw the cover photo as I know how much you didn't want to do Angel's Landing (but also appreciate, that has no harnesses!) I've been feeling very inspired by your chasing of the leaves turning and went to an Arboretum to gawp at the colours there. Was this filmed last weekend?
Wow that zip lining sounds so fun! You’re so close to some of the coolest Via Ferratas, so we hope you can try one someday! We really want to do one in Europe now 😍 And you’re spot on, I refused to do Angels Landing, but the harness made me feel so much more comfortable here! This was filmed on Monday-well worth taking a day off from work!
@Adventures of A plus K We've had to cancel our Spain/Portugal trip as we'd need to quarantine for 2 weeks on our return... but Italy is on the non-quarantine list. This video inspired me a little, throw in your reply, a quick peek at the flight costs (which are insanely cheap for school holidays) I started to seriously consider a last minute jaunt. But then I looked at the weather... lows of minus temperatures 🥶 Maybe for another time of year perhaps!! I'm incredibly envious of your huge country right now, this tiny island feels too tiny!!
@@WhenAdventureKnox Aw man, that would've been incredible! Although, doing this in the cold would be harder as I would've really been shaking like a leaf lol!
What a cool state. I can just watch now cause I’m way too old already. But thanks for an epic vlog. Btw, I was stationed near the Dolomites in my service days but I didn’t know then of this kind of climbing.
No Way!! OMG you guys!! That was awesome to watch but you would NEVER catch me climbing up that rock OR walking across that bridge! That rock was like paper thin and you were sitting at the top of it! Love the drone shots but weren't you afraid you were going to lose it up there? Now, would you do it again?!!
We would 1000% do it again! It was a blast, even though we were terrified at times! We really want to do one in Europe someday. Adam was definitely scared with the drone, but it thankfully can return "home" (which is wherever the remote is, so usually in his hand) at the click of a button and has good motion sensors to not crash, so we overall felt okay about it! Totally worth it for the shots 🙌🏼
Yes totally epic!! The climb was incredible, really impressed with the drone shots, they really add to the total video experience!! Beautiful countryside!
OMG you guys this was an insane vlog!!😲I’m so proud of you both for facing your fears. Congrats to this awesome accomplishment🤩👍👏I’m not going to lie, I was nervous for you both when you reached the “spine” looking down at the bridge😲A new phrase for you both to use & one I was saying while watching this vlog... “Outta Control”😱Great exhilarating vlog🤩

This looks exhilarating!! You can really grasp how high up y'all are around 10:25. You looked high up while on the bridge, and then at that mark the bridge looks tiny! We will have to try this one day!
Isn’t that crazy?! Seeing how tiny the bridge looks really put into perspective!
It's always nice to challenge yourself to get out of your comfort zone! Great to see the journey :) I feel like my forearms would be sore after that because I would be holding on so hard. The bridge was so beautiful
We were definitely sore the next day! That last part up to the top required a bit of upper body strength too!
Living vicariously through you two watching you climb...Wow! Great drone shots!
Thank you so much!
Good job guys!!! We live near by and went for the first time this summer and went again on Oct. 9th and convinced some friends to come along for the adventure.
Thanks for show casing our beautiful state in your video!!!!!
Happy adventuring!!
That is so awesome! We missed ya by just 4 days! Such a crazy activity and we are really wanting to more in the future!
Wow!! Love the drone shots! What an experience, great job!
Adam crushed it with those drone shots! Thank you so much!
This is so crazy! I feel so proud of you guys, like you were my own kids!
Hahaha thank you Kenneth! ❤️❤️
Amazing views! Worth the hike! I really liked the drone footage.
The drone footage is some of our favorite of all time! Thank you so much for watching!
A true adventure!! even more than a traditional adventure 😃
It was exhilarating!
So amazing you both conquered your fears. I was able to be brave enough to hike the High Line in Glacier National Park but there is no way I could do this! My heart was pounding just watching this!!!!
It was pretty insane! We felt super safe with the leashes hooking us up to the wires, but even though we knew we were attached, some of the climbs made us super nervous!
Wow this is a adventure I never thought of doing. It looks a bit scary but I do understand all the safety measures that come along with it. It looks awesome when you do make it to the top. Nice sharing 👍👍
It was an absolute blast! Even with the fear!
WOW! Had no idea we had mountains like that in the states. The drone footage was amazing!
Thank you and thanks for watching!
SUPREME props to you guys. I think Im a tough guy, but you I dont have the kahunas to do what you guys did. I almost had a mini anxiety attack just watching this video...... Extra props to the dude, he reminded me in the sense that I dont do heights. And I can see that he was visibly uncomfortable, and he beasted through that shit. Glad yall made it down safely.
This was so much fun! It was scary at first, but super safe and so rewarding!
This is insane! I got super nauseous just watching y’all! Thank you for sharing!! 💛💛💛
I was so nauseous too! Hahaha 🤣
My hands are so sweaty just by watching this video, but it looks great
Hahaha ours were too! 😅
you guys are amazing! I’m shaking just watching this!
Um this is absolutely nuts!! I was terrified just watching it. Yikessss!
Great video!! I’m glad you shared this experience with us because I don’t think I would have it in me to do that.
Hahah you can do it!!! It was an absolute blast!
Props to y’all for doing that climb!! That looked....yeah pretty scary!
Hahahah definitely scary! My legs were shaking so badly! 🤣
my ancestors used to own the entire eastern side of Nelson rocks all the way across the Germany valley to the other mountain. Beautiful country, and I hope to buy it back for the family lol
Wow, very cool!!!
We just recieved or Via Ferrata gear from Black Diamond today in the mail. Super excited to hit up Colorado in October. Thanks for the video, I think it's going to be awesome!
That’s so cool! There’s a cool via ferrata route south of Ouray we wanted to try! We hope y’all have a great trip!
Wow, wow, wow! That looked terrifying but absolutely amazing!!
It absolutely was both lol!
Oh my!! I don't think I would be able to to this hike at all.. Whenever you would look down I would gasp haha. Regardless, this was such a beautiful vlog and the drone footage was INCREDIBLE AND BREATHTAKING. I am looking forward to watch your next adventures.
Thank you so much Tati! It was definitely nerve wrecking, especially looking down! 😳😳
Really enjoyed this episode, thank you so much. You’re so cute together! 🥰
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Wow, I'm impressed!! how awesome!! I would do the bridge but that other stuff no freaking way. awesome video
It was soooo much fun! Really got the adrenaline pumping!
It was a lot easier just watching you do this from the comfort of my cool room sipping some ice tea 😊
haha that's a great way to experience it! We're glad we could do the legwork for ya! Thanks for watching!
Omg I was shaking watching this wow looks sooooo scary especially the bridge when Kathryn got too the top and said she felt nauseous I was like wow so fun but so scary
Oh man, it was terrifying and nauseating at times, but one of the best things we have ever done!
Been waiting to watch this all day finally got it on my new 4K tv You guys my heart was in my mouth the whole time ! 18 mins felt like 5 secs went so quick , hope your mother dosnt see it 🙈 great job you were like mountaineering pros 👌 well impressed , no money in the world could pay me to do that , looked great fun though 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
Hahahahaha my mom just commented and her comment made me LOL! So pumped you watched this on a 4K TV! Those drone shots Adam got deserve the big screen 🙌🏼🙌🏼
I live in Virginia but West Virginia is so beautiful. Loved the video.
I knew of Seneca Rocks, but I didn't know there was a via ferrata. This is so awesome.
Seriously one of the coolest, most thrilling experiences! It's located down the road a bit from Seneca Rocks, but a similar vibe!
Wow , what a scarey place to be !!! You guys sure are brave !! Or crazy !!!
It may look scary, but it was totally safe and a blast! We love WV!
I watched this while walking on the treadmill and I had to keep grabbing the side rails cause I thought I was gonna fall off!!! You are way too brave!
Hahaha my mom HATES cliffs! I don’t love them either, but she freaks out if we are like 10 feet from them 🤣
So happy that you have enjoyed my State. Wild and Wonderful 💙💛
It's a gorgeous place!
Still one of our favorite things we have done! Definitely not for everyone, but we highly recommend it!
This has inspired me to look for Via Ferratas around the world, it looks so epic!
You guys are awesome! Truly an adventure!
Thank you Diana! It’s something we will never forget!
Amazing episode... amazing view from top of the rock! More of these contents please :-)
Thank you! And this will probably be our most extreme adventure for a while haha. Our wallet and nerves can’t take too much of it 😜
What a cool state. I can just watch now cause I’m way too old already. But thanks for an epic vlog. Btw, I was stationed near the Dolomites in my service days but I didn’t know then of this kind of climbing.
So glad you enjoyed it! And wow, you lived near the Dolomites? Amazing!
Oh heck no! Amazing that you 2 did this!
Still one of the most fun things we have ever done!
Great video! Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching!
This looks like so much fun!
Such a blast! Even as I was shaking the entire time haha
Yes totally epic!! The climb was incredible, really impressed with the drone shots, they really add to the total video experience!! Beautiful countryside!
Thank you so much Mark! So happy we got to fly the drone! It made editing this SO fun!
Those drone shots were killer!
Looked like an awesome adventure! Views from the bridge look great!
The bridge was so dang fun! 🙌🏼
@@AdventuresofAplusK you guys need to stop having fun 😉
Hahaha don’t worry, we have plenty of not fun 🤣
@@AdventuresofAplusK i know whenever I post stuff it doesn't show how I go crazy all day to get all the cool footage 😎
Hahaha very true! Or the many days we spend editing and working 😅
That is a perfect phrase!!! We will have to start using that! Thank you so much for the kind words on this vlog 💕
this is a wonderful ridge climbing! Nice knife dinosaur ridge! I'll remember the name of the place!
Pretty crazy!!
Absolutely amazing video!!
Thank you so much Kim!
You’ve definitely done my state justice! Thank you guys ❤️
Thank you so much!
@@AdventuresofAplusK I’ve lived here for 25 years (my whole life) and you gave ME ideas of things to do this fall and next summer. I live in Martinsburg, WV which is kind of close to Harpers Ferry and there is nothing to do here and has a bad reputation lol people usually head to VA or MD to do things
@@MesserAaron13 one of my favorite spots is maryland heights by harpers ferry
Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for watching! 😃
