    Looks delicious I will definitely be making this !! Did you boil the beef ? Than fry? And did you fry the beef by itself??and what kind of blender do you use to chop your vegetables? Mines is always puréed to much and a lil bit chunky like yours

      @CookingwithWinn  2 роки тому +3

      I boiled the beef first before adding it to the gravy. I used the nutribullet. Mine pureed but i do not let it pureed the vegetable completly.

      Not really but you can make it spicy if u like or you can make it less spicy by using more bell peppers and few habanero peppers

    How much water did you use for 3 cups of rice ? I always use a rice cooker when I cook my rice because it always turn out mushy if I cook it on the stove,I like fluffy rice. So I’m thinking will it turn out the same if I put my jute leaves/rice together in the rice cooker ?

    • @CookingwithWinn
      @CookingwithWinn  2 роки тому

      girl, between u and I, i will prefer cooking my rice on the stove top rather than using rice cooker. With the stove top, I can start with little bit of water and add more water as needed but with the rice cooker, it's a different story and every rice cooker has different measurement of rice and water so i can't tell you how much to add cause i don't know the rice cooker you have. But the rice cooker usually come with a booklet that has the measurement of rice and water. If you want, I can make a video on how to make your rice on the stop top without it being too hard or too soft.

    I'm Liberian, and I'm pretty sure it's spelled "Checkered" Rice. Because of the contrast between dark rice grains and light rice grains.
