Oh my God! That your pot ewoo. I need it please where can I get that pot plea-----se. And your cooking is on point, well done. This is my first time watching your video.
This is my favorite Fish. I use salt to wash my fish and even chicken too. My mum taught me that. You are right it acts as a disinfectant. Infact, this Fish eeeh, let me carry my long throat and behave myself. I enjoyed watching.
I beg, biko , any time that your 9ja man mess up, just carry all your baggage including the kids and come to my house in South East London . We shall live together happily ever .
Very detailed! 👍 Definitely doing this for Christmas. Pls is there a name for it in the abroad as I doubt they will know what croaker fish is over here. Lol
Pepper is optional o. I mentioned it in the video as well that when cooking for a party, ( remember you don’t know their spice tolerance. ) it is better to play safe with the pepper but if you’re making it for personal consumption, of course use as much as you like.
Salt does the same thing. You can either use salt or use lemons. You obviously didn't listen to what she said because you needed to tell her what you know.
This is a cultural thing abeg 🙄, this woman cleaned that fish thoroughly with salt, that’s to clean enough... do you know what the salt is doing when she uses it that way? she even used it multiple times. I didn’t know that people wash their meet with lemon until I married a Haitian man. An average African will not use lime and salt and this is not a sign of uncleanliness. Depending on where you are from people do things differently so do as you please but let’s demean other people’s ways just because it’s not the same as our way. This is disgusting? Naaah y’all are reaching ✋
Hi am coming for the fish hope there is still some left. Please the link you share about the pot is the small size, where did you get the big size please. Thanks
Ok. but I always add the sauce to balance everything. Just like when we make stew now. I can use only bell peppers as well, but because it’s pricy, when cooking in large quantity I just use a stew base. I hope I’ve made sense 😀♥️
This fish looks like tilapia I was even thinking it’s tilapia.we are coming for thanksgiving dinner in your house ,no turkey today but croacker fish.the fish is well seasoned and nicely fried Nnem This fish will go well with jellof rice and fried plantain.
I’m black and Native American I’ve notice Africans don’t fry fish or chicken with flour... is flour bad to y’all? Just wondering been getting into my heritage lately

This is the perfect recipe
Nice
Yummy yummy 👍
Why didn't u use the oil u use on frying fish to make the stew
The oil was still very hot, and I didn’t want to mistakingly burn myself while trying to pour it into the pot. So I used another pre used oil.
😍😍😍😍😍😍 looks soooooo good
I need a party platter right now.

Do you leave the fish out for 4 hrs or in the fridge?
I am new to your channel and this looks ridiculously delicious. I must give this recipe a try. Thanks for sharing.
You’re so welcome ♥️
Like that you are very clean
Waaaaaou
Looks delicious but I was wondering will it still taste good with out adding the spicy red peppers?
The pepper is kind of the main taste so you'll need it
Pepper is optional o. I mentioned it in the video as well that when cooking for a party, ( remember you don’t know their spice tolerance. ) it is better to play safe with the pepper but if you’re making it for personal consumption, of course use as much as you like.
Lady, you need to squeeze some lemons in that fish
Limes or lemons
Salt does the same thing. You can either use salt or use lemons. You obviously didn't listen to what she said because you needed to tell her what you know.
Exactly this is the first time in my life seeing someone cleaning fish without limes 😳 disgusting
She always cook fish like this horrible no lemon no vinegar no salt .well blow me down I will never it that .
This is a cultural thing abeg 🙄, this woman cleaned that fish thoroughly with salt, that’s to clean enough... do you know what the salt is doing when she uses it that way? she even used it multiple times. Thank you so much. Here’s is an amazon link for the pot www.amazon.com/dp/B006NGDHPU/ref=cm_sw_r_wa_awdb_imm_t1_.VDVFbYQW3D3S?psc=1
Hi am coming for the fish hope there is still some left. Please the link you share about the pot is the small size, where did you get the big size please. Thanks
Quick question plsssss.....why do you use tomato paste and tomato sauce?
Quick answer, why not 😆
It’s mainly for a richer stew base and then the color as well.
@@joyfulcook Ok...I'm asking because I only use the tomato paste and I thought that was enough for the richness and color.
Ok. but I always add the sauce to balance everything. Just like when we make stew now.
I can use only bell peppers as well, but because it’s pricy, when cooking in large quantity I just use a stew base. I hope I’ve made sense 😀♥️

This fish looks like tilapia I was even thinking it’s tilapia.we are coming for thanksgiving dinner in your house ,no turkey today but croacker fish.the fish is well seasoned and nicely fried Nnem
This fish will go well with jellof rice and fried plantain.
Yeah, but it’s not. Happy thanksgiving my sister ♥️♥️♥️
Tilapia sucks!!!!!!!
What kind of fish is that?
Is it croaker fish or cod fish?
Hi please where did you get the pot from

🤤🤤😋👌👌👌
I’m black and Native American I’ve notice Africans don’t fry fish or chicken with flour... is flour bad to y’all? Just wondering been getting into my heritage lately
Depends on what you're making... If the fish is for a stew then no.... No flour is used
Neither do my Jamaican ppl or Guyanese. It's more healthier.
We also remove our skin off of our chicken. Never use flour for our fish. I've never seen ppl use flour until I became and adult. Lol
Why do have to use seasoned cubes if you know seasoned cubes is mostly salt?
Why do not you bake the seasoned salt?
I know you're African and you do things your way but where is the lemon juice or vinegar to wash the fish🇯🇲🇯🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
