"Are you guys on Broadway?"
"No, we're Amish."
😂😂
🤣
Yes
So you thing is funny
😂
Did he just tell them to all use the same pass? Savage 😂
Every time they scan the pass it deducts $2.75 from the card, so it doesn’t really matter because they all paid for their ride
Why not? Everyone does that 😂

They are like babies having sensory overload..
The drastic change had to be mind blowing for them...lol

"It will take an Ox to drag me out of here." haha I love their catch phrases.
6:33 Damn, I started crying. I felt the same way my first time in Times Square. I mean, yes, advertisements are a stain on humanity and the world. But I've always loved city lights, and coming from lameass suburbs, I had never seen them like that before. It really is an experience.
i almost started crying too. i went to NYC for the first time just a month ago & it was the most amazing thing i've ever experienced. i was ready to drop everything i have going for me where i live to just LIVE there. it would be lifechanging.
NYC the greatest city on the planet!
@@masonslie1146 said no one ever
@@kane2440 well it used to be. It still is but it is now riddled with crime, mentally ill and dangerous homeless people, dirty and wayyuyy too expensive to live.
@@kane2440okay relax Alabama
The way they feel when they get to Times Square is exactly how i feel every time i go into the city and I’ve grown up here 🥺
I Love New York, Time Square is my favorite place to be, especially at Christmas time. I try to go every year because no matter how many times you go it still feels like the 1st time.
That's funny, in a positive way of us all being different. I never understood Times Square or Trafalgar Square. Who the fuck wants to see adds? Did you put the adds that dropped down your letterbox onto your walls, because they were so beautiful? What I appreciate is nature and ancient, classical beauty. But we all have our tastes.
For the Amish, I understand that it was the light that impressed them.
lmao same
Bates is my cousin
@@makmar4484 Whatever you can do for your cousin, however he prefers to live his life, I hope you can support. Blood is thicker than thought.
I'm from rural Australia and I went to Hong Kong as a 16-year old. Pretty much the same shock. I never saw so many people (or dangers!) in my life. There were buildings somebody could get lost inside and even underground trains and passageways. I saw skyscrapers built on mountains. And thanks to internet I can finally show this to my uncles and cousins.
Like you didn't have a television
Never seen so many dangers? You're Australian, you practically live on the back of a giant spider.
@@jeffhampton2767 We did, it had 4 propaganda channels and 0 real content.
I'm an Aussie born and raised to Aussies in Hong Kong during the 80s and 90s. Both my parents were country kids and we did just fine. It was a mind warp for me visiting the grandparents in Inverell after flying from HK!
I can see how a first time subway ride could be anxiety provoking lol it’s wild and crowded and fast paced ! Lol
That would put me off,it's so busy
It’s OK we all feel the same way about the subway.
and HOT
Forget that, it fuckin stinks and the air feels moist
I'm so happy that y'all had a wonderful time in (New York City) . Be very careful though. There's also a dangerous side to the big apple. May God bless you, and keep you safe on your journeys.
Another heretic commanding a vengeful god to change his perfect plan.
I was driving through rural PA, Amish kids waving to me made my day
“That train almost blew my bonnet off!” Imma start using that. 🤣
Next up. Amish get their first mugging and mugger leaves with straw hat, and bible.
Lol
Its everyone thinking theyre dressing like that for costumes and fun lmaoo
I freaking love Amish people!!! I'm fascinated to the core when I see them!!! The only time I usually see them is at the hospital and sumtimes maybe the mall
The first time I met an Amish family was back in '94 during a stop at Niahgra Falls as part of a baseball tour. Most freindly.
“ This is the most amazing place that I’ve ever been. “ So much respect for these people. Amish people don’t have to change at all regarding their traditions but least they need to adapt the 2021 Life but not destroy the tradition! Love from philippines 🇵🇭
The first Young Amish show a couple of years ago revealed almost everyone who was on the show had lived outside there community before and there " lost modern world " personas was for the show. So i don't bother with this new incarnation. I'm sure they have taken a subway before lol
At the end they go to a bar and adrink like a fish. Couldn't be a first experience. Not the first time putting shots down.
most amish are pretty well aquanted with technology. I was in Amish country a few months ago and I saw a woman on a smart phone lol. They are a a point where they can't really survive without modern tech
All of the cast were all already in the English world, it’s definitely faked for the show
Yes. I don't believe any of these people were actually Amish. An Amish girl named Barbie,?
@@kyriljordanov2086 They are definitely Amish. I heard them speak and you cannot fake the language. I understood every word they said..I am a former Amish person.
I tip my hat to them
This happened to me in gar du nor. I've always wanted to do what they did in NYC. Big ups to them!
Gare du Nord in Paris ?
@@capucnechaussonpassion14 Could also be Gare du Nord in Brussels.
This is really like going back in time and bring someone from 18th century
The metro cards are purchased by the amount of trips- depending on the rides, so is the price/value of the Metro cards. as long as there are trips left, they can be used my multiple of people. I still miss the tokens.
I was born and raised, and still live at 33, just outside of Orlando FL. We go there all the time to eat, go to the theme parks, stores downtown, doctor's appointments, etc. And even to me that subway looks hectic and stressful and all heck!
That would be soo much fun! I love Disney! I love Universal and Seaworld! Wish I could go back! Haven’t been there since 2007!
These Amish seem a little more "worldly" by using words such as "cheers" and "hook-up"... Those do not seem like words that would fit into the Amish vernacular.
I watched a video of someone meeting Amish people and a guy said a few have internet, fake? Idk
And one said Freaking
They look like actors.
Yes I live in PA and have seen plenty of amish and they don't sound or look amish.
I live in Ohio and have visited Amish families. They are very kind and family oriented. I notice on these Amish shows the women have spray tans.
Maybe its makeup for the camera's? idk
Yep they don't sound or look amish.
It's probably a real tan from being outside... I don't think they generally use sunblock
Of all places to introduce them to non-Amish life-NYC would be so overwhelming.
Try putting a Pacific islander in the middle of New York city & he/she will cry out loud of a broken heart.
how much they paid these people to pretend to be amish?? 😂😂😂
This would be overwhelming even for me and I’m from California
And if you do it in Paris (metro), you'll have rotten ceilings and leaks.
How do they get alcohol when they are not allowed to have ID because of photographs?
Im sure the show just got it for them
A lot of places in New York don’t card if you look old enough.
I mean doesn't they look like more than 21? why in USA you're asking for id even when a person looks almost 50?
I remember i met some on an amtrak train once. they didnt talk much but when i looked some up online i learned about their lifestyle and culture and was like, yo these ppl live in the 1600s
Just so you know this show and everything they say is all a lie! I'm amish myself and we DO NOT live like that! And this is not actually how they dress etc. They just do it for this weird show!🙄🤨☹
Don't believe anything you see online about the amish because it's not true at all!
@@saramiler5241 The Amish Community is/are Christian Church Members (aswell as I am) so I'm sure they're dressed like that and etc to prevent committing sins

Johnny F-ING Cash....WHAT?! I thought it's a sin for any Amish People to listen to the Legendary Johnny Cash, and one of the GOATs of Country Music. WOW. This kid definitely has some good taste in music.
Did the producers tell that girl to ask them about their attire like that?! 🤣😂

I can already tell Matt, the brown kid, is going to go wild during this experience. Poor wife.
The one in the pink is for the streets 🤣
I'm not Amish and New York City scares the hell out of me
I've only ever been to NYC 2 times in mi life. And they both were for school field trips
An Amish girl named Barbie? I doubt any of these people are actually Amish. They may have an Amish background but they're not Amish.
Barbie means foreign from a strange land, I think it suits her perfectly, Latin though, if I remember
Barbie isn’t just the name of a doll. Also, the dolls name is actually Barbara. Ken is “Kenneth”.
Bates is my cousin he's back amish his actual name is Ruben lol
Coming from someone who grew up near Amish these are not Amish people at all!!!! This is staged
The last time I ever ride a subway, was in 1975, from Bronze to terrytown.
Man, dude. Don't think amish talk like that
I've never been to Time Square but no matter what were to happen if I did there's no way it could be for me than it was for these folks
What do you mean?
I wonder how the Amish feel about gaining power (electricity) through solar, wind and water sources. The sun can easily cook anything an electric oven can. They have metal tools. So, I'm not sure if the difference between using tools and metal to make a vehicle that uses the sun to power it.
Bates is cuuuuuuute
They really don't seem that different at all. Like when they were all standing there staring at the lights, they looked like Gen-X suburban kids. Not quite like today, of this generation, but definitely familiar. Appreciate how simple and straightforward they communicate. It's nice.
WOW...I'm actually REALLY SURPRISE that Amish People even knows what jokes are. Lol
They should have "Young Amish go overseas to unfamiliar country" series.
Well, they’re one step ahead of me. I’ve never been on a Subway. No clue how they work, what they cost or how you know when to get off. 😂 Tbh, I’m scared of them. Not the people. I’ve been employed w crazy (state mental hospital, medic, hospitals etc) I just hate trying to figure new things out. Once I did though... I’d just stay on all night... enjoy my insomnia.
I’m not Amish and I would never get on a subway so I completely under why they’re confused lol
i was on subway 2 times hated it.
ahhh....... memories of those first few swipes of that metrocard man..... its all in the flick of the wrist!!!
New York train stations trains look like they are way smaller than London trains 🚆
They sure say damn alot for being Christians
They are absolutely gorgeous
Dude in the green looks like stevewilldoit 🤣
Beautiful ladies.
this looks super fake
I feel like I missed this entire season
Beautiful
I live in Amish Country and the young man there with the brown skin and blue suspenders is definitely not Amish.
Would they say the word "freaking"? One of them just said "There's electricity all freaking over"
they dont have a head like the pope for catholics... so each community is different
The girls look so beautiful and pretty.
I HATE big cities, they can have New York. But I do enjoy electric, some modern convivences, & small towns so they can have the Amish village too LOL
Vonda is Fabulous and very much highly classy
Happy for them
These are not run of the mill Amish girls.......plucked eye brows.....what else??
that's what i noticed too!
Dang Matt is from my town lol Ashland, OH!
You would think kids would be going the opposite way
Not able to take care of themselves, so they become Amish to learn where there food comes from
Then what would be their reaction if they saw Dubai😂
. New York is big and busy and is so Kool . It looks so great and fun.
Most “English” people can’t even manage the subway🤣
I can especially in the UK
Amish are cute people and the girls have cute clothing too.
"...do my thing." "Let's do this thing." "Damn! That was scary!" Is that how the Amish talk? The other words phrases that they use. The guy knows Johnny Cash and Waylon Jennings. Really? Something is not right. Like this is staged.

These seem like fake amish
Teenage Amish they really don’t fear God as much as they fear their parents more than God, fearing your parents and God is two different Ways of thinking. When you fear God you don’t want to sin Against God cuz we love God .The Holy Spirit of God helps us To live this Christian life He leads us ,helps us, to make good decisions , and to lead us to God to protect our souls. Bible says to be obedient your parents . Many parents teach laws, rules ,and regulations which are made from man not God, but when parents teach The gospel from the word of God the gospel is from God , And religion is made of laws, rules, and regulations which doesn’t please God. You Young teenagers will know the difference when it’s time to go out on your own and make serious decisions for you and your young family in these sinful evil world that’s when you really need to depend on your Lord God .

I feel happy and at the same time sad...for em Amish. They live primitive lifestyles and yet they crave for the glitz n glamour of the big city...let alone NYC. 😔......guess it's human nature......to want to live a posh life....alas not everyone is privileged. Sad world!!!
