- 👋 Take a look at the all new 2024 Ford Mustang! This is the new S650 generation Ford Mustang! In todays video we check out the 2024 Mustang EcoBoost equipped with the 101A package. Surprisingly this is a base model Mustang about as cheap as you can get it. MSRP was $36,500 and the 101A package was $2,600. The Rapid Red paint was a $495 option and the 19in wheels were $895. So this was pretty basic, however the new interior on the 2024 Mustang is very cool! Massive 13.2in infotainment screen and a 12.4in gauge cluster! I loved all the cool gauge configurations including the Fox Body with the old school retro loo, which lights up green at night! Track mode had a huge tach and the center screen could show drive modes and accessory gauges. The basic seats have a synthetic leather and very nice fabric to give a two tone design. Very comfortable and they felt nice. Flat bottom steering wheel was also a great touch! The interior has a plastic carbon fiber look trim which does compliment the interior well. The 2024 EcoBoost Mustang packs an 'all new' 2.3L inline 4 cylinder turbo with 315 horsepower and 350 torque. Nearly the same specs as before but Ford said the engine is all new. This EcoBoost drove nice with plenty of power and the 10 speed automatic was very smooth. This basic trim was certainly no sportscar. Handling is vague and very floaty around turns. Paddle shifters are only available in the performance package. So this spec was more of a cool sporty car to drive normally and do some accelerations. However I'm impressed with the basic Mustang for the new 2024 model year.It's a nice car for a good price and if this base model was this nice, I can't wait to check out the high trims! Ford did a good job with the revisions for the new 2024 S650 Mustang!

People can talk crap about this ecoboost mustang all you want but this is one of the best deals on the market right now. That much performance with that interior for low $30k is pretty impressive. To bad the rest of Fords line up is mostly overpriced.
The ford ranger is expensive too and I really wanted that one
This looks like an awesome car to buy. I had a 1993 Cobra that had 240hp and did 0-60 in 5.7 seconds or so. This base Ecoboost does 0-60 in 4.5 seconds. Unbelievable. Ecoboost and a tune for the win.
It would be a good option!
I can never get 4.5 the best I got was 4.64

@@BrosFOURRSpeedNo engine cover, the airbox is different, the routing of the piping is different and the turbo charger seems to be different as well. Fuel rail seems to be different too.

Really like the gray cloth used on the interior... goes great with the red. I also like the split up screens on the dash- I think it looks better than the conjoined ones on the higher models. All that's missing is a 6 speed. The 10 speed auto aint it.
Yeah they did a good job making the base car feel nice and sporty. 6 speed is definitely the way to go!
Ecoboost can't be bought with a 6 speed, only an automatic.
Yeah didn't learn that till after filming.
I remember I got to ride my cousins mustang 2014 I fin in the back seats just fine I’m like 5 foot 3 or 5 foot 4 I have no idea
Yeah at 5ft 4 you should be good. I'm 5ft 11 and didn't have much head room

Mustang used to be my first choice, but since the backseat is unavailable for 3 family, it is not for me. Don't give me wrong mustang is a beautiful muscle car and it's fast! Challenger is for me because it has seats for 3 family in the back and it's also a cool looking muscle car.

It's sad doesn't come with a manual 🤦♂️...bad call from ford...I have an ecoboost with a manual so much fun...
Put a tune on this thing and it will keep up with the 5.0 no doubt

In person it's pretty nice. I didn't think I'd like it. But it works well

Also it has a twin scroll turbo charger
The intake also changed.
The cars ecu is locked so no tuning available.
I currently own one and it’s pretty fast in my opinion. I love the shit out of it

It would make sense to me to offer the manual for the 4 cylinder. They would sell a lot more.
I doubt that. Most people buying a manual mustang would go with the V8’s, not a 4 cylinder.

@@ksorsomeplace Yeah I don’t see the manual available on Fords website. The selectshift 10 speed comes with the EcoBoost performance package. Wonder if you can dealer order an EB in manual.
@@BrosFOURRSpeed I'm guessing no, unless the website configurator is incorrect. Sometimes I see cars on the lot that are configured in ways that the configurator says can't be done. From a buyers perspective, why not have it optional? What difference to the number of sales make? The tooling already exists to manufacture the transmission.

Cheap ? This base model Ecoboost is more expensive than my 5.0 that i bought new in 18'
Hard to compare prices from 6 years ago to today's market. Our economy has tanked in the last 4 years. So nothing is relevant from the past compared to today. Not my fault our country went downhill for 4 years straight.
