Salem's Satanic Temple Gets IRS Recognition

- The Satanic Temple in Salem doesn’t worship Satan or believe in a holy text, but seems to exist for another key purpose: challenging the intersection of church and state and advocating for religious and individual freedom. The group has now received official IRS recognition as an official religion. Jim Braude was joined by Lucien Greaves, who cofounded the group in 2013.
The interviewer is very professional, he asked questions and he didn’t take sides as it should be.
Wow, the interviewer is beyond professional. He sees beyond the name of the religion and actually listens and makes sense of what the guy is saying.
The host was very mature about how he went with the conversation not arguing or saying whats right or wrong but instead actually trying to understand what theyre talking about

Religion started as a way for people to explain the things they didn't understand. It merely evolved over time and the story writing of it just got better. The only reason it seems so much like an "absolute truth" for there to be a god (or gods depending on your beliefs) is because these stories have had literally all of civilized humanity to weed out the problems in the stories, and give explainations to questions. Thousands upong thousands of years of writing, fixing, editing and reviewing will eventually lead to what we have today, delusion following a story written by some psuedo-scientists in ancient times.

The fact is that far more crime and child abuse has been committed by zealots in the name of god, jesus and mohammed than has ever been committed in the name of satan. Many people dont like that statement, but few can argue with it.
I heard that these guys are more political than anything else.
They're drawing attention to state bias toward certain religious views with a sense of humor.
I choose light over darkness, knowledge over ignorance. Lucifer means 'bearer of light'.
