But each time ,it s something good and interesting, so it s ok.
I'm 72 and live in Canada. I can tell from reading the comments that I don't fit the demographics of the viewers on this channel.. But I love to watch and have learned a lot. My favorite trick is the one where you have the person only think of one of the cards you show them. Then you proceed to select their card by dividing groups of cards for them and placing half on top and bottom etc. until your down to two. I love that there is no deck setup and you can use a borrowed deck. That always gets great reactions. I entertain my kids ( now in their 50s ) grandchildren ( of all ages ) and usually at parties and group gettogethers ( but not lately because of the pandemic ) And yes, anyone else who will watch. What I've learned from your channel is the psychology around performing a mentalism trick which turns it into something far more entertaining and interesting for me, and the spectator. Love this channel.

Your Monster Prediction trick (Which I rethemed to fit 'schools of magic' for a tv show my family was watching the week I did the trick) is one of the first tricks I learned as an adult (I knew a bunch of simple card tricks that still work pretty well, but I learned those as a teen) - the fact that it was relatively simply to learn and really effective when I did it in practice really inspired me to start learning more. Most 'magic tricks' I knew about require sleight of hand, which I'm not really skilled at.... and to be honest I never really was impressed with when watching *others* do sleight of hand so was hard to be excited about learning those. I'm now excited to be doing a lot of tricks that don't rely on that, whether its through various peeks, forces, multiple outs, verbal manipulation, gimmicked items and memory work -- I'm glad there is so much stuff that can be done that seem really impressive but *dont* rely on sleight of hand.

My favorite powerful moments that I have been able to create recently have come from your take on Out of Sight, Out of Mind that you shared with Shin Lim. It's incredible, elegant, and a perfect bridge into so much more that wouldn't work without the suspension of disbelief that that effect causes for an audience.

Good for you! A lot of mentalism is very simple on the surface. Like Spidey said, the real artistic side of mentalism is in the presentation. That’s so for every genre, but particularly mentalism. I simply love the trick which you did online when the lady on the other side randomly deals cards, then makes two piles and remembers one of top cards.
I have made a few changes to it...the way I do it is by doing a fake shuffle and then handing over the deck to them. Then they do all the procedure and finally I ask them to say the card. Then I ask them to reach into my pocket and take out the card or unlock my mobile and view the card on the home screen wallpaper depending on the card they told. The reactions are obviously just insane😁... all thanks to you Spidey👍

I loved the Halloween trick. The story of people constantly vanishing from the village they live and the spectator will be the paranormal investigator. The thing that I love about this trick is, when the spectator wants even number cards, we spread the cards in one way and when they want odd number cards, we spread them in the other way. Sounds very simple but true genius. I do this trick all the time, whenever any of my friends call me, I will tell them to video call me so that I can show this trick

I am 20, from Italy. I absolutely loved the "halloween trick", and used it twice already. I changed the presentation, creating a different story, but it is a very powerful routine, and both times left the table speechless

3. My favourite trick that I learnt from you is the one having 9 magical moments.
Its the one, where the magician first tells the spectator, that he/she can cut out to a set of a specific card, by doing 4 underhand cuts, and place them on the table.For example, the magician can directly cut to the 4 aces by doing 4 underhand cut and place them on the table, and the same is done for the first 3 aces, but then in the fourth time, the ace doesn't come.
The magician sees that he/she has cut to a card different from a card desired, but a magician can do anything. So, he/she instantly changes the 3 cards placed on the table to the recent card(by doing the fourth and the last cut) obtained. The magician then spreads the cards face up to show that only 4 cards were upside down in the entire deck for the whole time, which was the first card he/she had said that they would cut to(here, the 4 aces).
The audience is fooled and then comes the wow moment which makes this trick the most unique one.
The magician tries to play with the audience's mind by saying that the cards, whether the aces or the last card obtained were all marked,i.e., their backs were of a different colour. The audience cannot understand what is happening, but everything becomes crystal clear, when the magician spreads the whole deck of the cards upside down, the audience notices that all the cards were of a different colour than the backs of the aces or the other card, and the audience now has no clue how it was done, and they are fully amazed...
I showed this trick first to my parents and they were in an awe.They just could not believe what they had just seen, and this was the first trick that also taught me that an "audience-magician connection" is very necessary.
Last but not the least, the way you teach magic is the most unique of the most unique way. Your way of teaching is so simple and it makes me believe that I too can make the impossible, possible....

I am 23 from India. I like all the tricks you have taught, the one I use more is the Halloween trick with 3 different outs.
I use it as an among us trick and its usually my 1st or 2nd trick before I switch to cards. I started performing this trick few months after you taught and has always been a trick that I don't miss performing.
The reactions I get are amazing as the choices are made by the spectators and they have no clue how its done as I do not touch the cards after dealing them down & I ask the spectators to remove the cards.

Now you asked about my favourite trick that I've learnt from you, but believe me man that's a hard one 😅 I mean within every two or three weeks you upload something that becomes my favourite 😂 & then another one & then another. And this is happening since last one & a half year or so or maybe more than that. There was a time when I was searching for something magic related content to learn & that's when I found you, Chris Ramsey, Alex Pandrea & other content creators like you guys. But almost two years past now, & right now you're the only person putting something out there for us to learn, & frankly speaking that means a lot to me, so a huge Thank you for that❤️. Most people won't even understand how valuable these little things are in my life, because I'm more of an introverted person, I wasn't popular in school, I don't really have many friends, there are only two guys I perform these tricks to & they are my best buddies❤️ Anyway so if I had to pick only a single one out this whole treasure I'll probably go with your virsion of Out of sight out of mind because that trick probably gave me the best reaction of all time. I loved this trick because of the reaction that people get when they realize that they stole the Ace of diamonds without even knowing they did it. Furthermore, I really liked the way you moved your fingers so that when you reveal the spectator's card has switched with the ace, the way you move it allows you to flip over both the kings.

But my personal favorite trick to perform for non-magician spectators is the Halloween trick, where you use the CREEPY characters😂😂😂....I hv tried using the Among Us version but it's no longer that viral so I switched back to the CREEPY CHARACTERS... And let me tell you, that trick gets the best reactions ever!!!! I hv had people jump off their chairs after this trick..... Another favorite of mine is the trick where the famous thief steals the diamond from the castle guards.... This trick gets the second best reaction!!! People go "THIS KID IS NOT NORMAL AT ALL"....... My favourite trick you taught was the one that fooled shin lim. The one with 6 cards. I went to this hostel where i was performing couple of tricks and there was this guy who knew just a force and a double lift and he start heckling so i did that trick to someone else in front of him and asked him to heckle. Luckily the card was third so i didn't need the double lift and that was a mic drop moment for me. Also i am an engineer and all of my friends are also engineer and whenever i show them normal tricks they also try to figure things out and when there is a group sometimes they figure it out by discussion but this one topped those moments as well. I have done only one big performance which happened in my school and I did this trick. My favorite trick that I learned from you is the heist. I like it so much because you can really change the scene so well to make it fitting for any type of audience. You can also add some really neat flare to it by making the audience protect the gem from us but we still take the gem from them into our own hands.

Hey Spidey, I am 18 year old, live in New York and my all time favorite trick from you (which you taught on the channel) is Dai Vernon's Out of Sight Out of Mind I loved your version and it definitely deepened my level with mentalism, and now I even have my own version which I do (several versions) and I now often combine the "Think a Card" principle to many classic tricks such as the Biddle and many forms of ACAAN thanks to learning this effect. For some reason I had never heard of the trick before you, but once I did it blew my mind, and I Started looking up every single type of Think a Card principle out there starting with classics such as Berglas' version of Think a Card in Richard Kaufman's book. When doing mentalism I now also try to mix a lot of prop-less mindreading to make the gimick or peek look just as powerful and this trick although not prop-less still will have the same effect. I did purchase Induction a while ago which till now I never realy sat down and took notes on it however yesterday for the first time I saw my friend do a self taught performance of hypnosis which absolutely blew my mind and even though it wasn't perfect it gave me that inspiration to look into it more and to start doing it myself. However despite the many mentalism effect I do and love, "Out of Sight Out of Mind" remains as one of my favorite tricks to do (as it's potential is insane). That feeling you said you have towards The Oracle System (about not wanting people to know about it) is the same feeling I have for your version of Dai Vernon's trick.

My favorite trick I have learned form you is where you talk about why you should not play cards with a magician, and I love this trick because my family always jokes about not wanting to play cards with me. I however, have decided to perform this trick with a twist... in the trick, I have no idea what I am doing. When I perform it, I start by saying "I am amazing" and "you don't want to play cards with me!". When I get the fourth card wrong, I get upset, then when I turn over the other three, I am in a state of complete shock. And yes, my sister wants to see the card trick all the time.

I use the one ahead prediction effect you taught in my longer peeformances. I do the 3 different steps split out between card routines (carefully putting each billet into a glass a glass a spectator is holding the whole time). The final reveal of the 3 predictions always gets an awesome reaction and it gives the whole performance a nice through line.

I wanted to fully delve into the annuals of magic & mentalism. I use the “one ahead” principle often. I usually use a deck of playing cards to set up the routine. I preform for family & work colleagues most, BUT I’m starting to branch out to preform for small audiences. I get the best reactions from work , which is a professional setting. I'm 33 years old and from the U.S. Once, i saw ben i knew the product. I was going to buy it lol. It's kind of hard for me to say which trick of yours is my favorite whether learned or purchased it. I'll try but i have to mention my top 3.
1) Psycho: Presentation is key like you often mentioned.I love the setup, learning how to script my own way of doing it and that ending is really powerful.
2) Most visual card: Those 9 moments really tested my double lifts and double undercut i have done it over 53 times atleast.
3) The impossible steal: people often use two card monte i use this and i love telling a good story about bank robber or robin hood debating on spectator.

The best trick that I've Learnt from you is the card trick when the spectator thinks of 1 in 6 cards, you showed them at the biggining and at the end you show them their card.
I've done it to my family and they could not belive this! My mum was fooled that she forgot when she'd put pudding for supper! I've done this trick for my uncle and he wanted to see it 1 more time becouse he was that thrilled as well, in 1 word: incredible, and the best part about that trick is that is so easy. Thanks for all of those fantastic tricks for free.

Spidey ,, hope u doing well !! .. almost all the trick u taught I loved them all , but my personal favorite are two tricks ...the first one is impossible prediction of cards..in which spectator has card in their mind and we get them ,, that was really insane !! and second was Halloween trick in that trick the principle that the order of card changes when we put the card from left to right or opposite was extremely great also the little bit of mentalism which made spectator choose the vampire as the evil card is awesome.......really got great reactions ..thanks for them all !! i am Ayush from INDIA of 16 yrs

I am 24 years old, I'm from Spain and I like many tricks from you, but probably my favourite one is the Halloween mentalism one with the mummy, the vampire, etc. and not just because of the trick itself but for all the variations I can think about that principle, and also because by that time I was looking for a mentalism trick for a Halloween show I'm working on and it was just perfect for what I wanted to do, I've tried it on my family and the reactions it gets are amazing, it blows minds hahaha and I really wanna get that show on for next Halloween so I can perform it there, but I've made more variations with many things I like and it's awesome to perform it!
