I used him too on this same grid. I'm 35 so right age to remember him a little. Very nice pull all day. Eric Byrnes would have been decent too.
There should be an extra prize for who gets the rarest player guess from the percentages that pop up
I had Mattingly for 100 RBI/GG and it was .4%
I picked Olerud for 100 RBI Mets and only .06 picked that
I got Conor Jackson for ARI/OAK it was 0.3%

Everyone saying "Andruw Jones" for Brave and Gold Glove being synonymous until you realize that Greg Maddux has the most all time. Eight more than Jones.
Im surprised noone in the office put Maddux as GG/Braves when he has like 18 with them or something, also surprised that only 6% of people guessed Barry Bonds for GG/100+RBI, I thought that was the easiest lol

Once you do 9 guesses, you should be able to guess the others but they are highlighted a different color than green once you complete it
@@shasavi97 I get it but still lame not like once a pitcher doesn’t get an immaculate inning they lose lol. Idk after the 9 guess let people keep going and just make note of it differently
I had this CD that came from a cereal box in 2003 that had a highlight reel of home runs on it, and for the D-Backs, they had an Erubiel Durazo 3 home run game as one of them. As an 8 year old, I assumed he was like a really well known player. I'll never forget the intro that that CD-ROM had when you put it into the PC. I went with Salvador Perez for Gold Glove and 100+ RBI season.
The one major difference between Immaculate Grid and ConnectGrid is the lack of mercy with incorrect guesses. Players can throw out incorrect guess after incorrect guess with ConnectGrid, but Immaculate Grid is all about finesse.
Also glad I wasn't the only person to think of Erubiel Durazo.

@@dave3429 I think they should add so you get unlimited guesses but any correct answer after 9 guesses has a yellow background instead of green, so you can have the satisfaction of finishing but you don't get credit for being immaculate. Like you can still have a complete game shutout but no perfect game
yeah, but I was so disappointed by his two wrong answers. Donaldson won the MVP while with the Blue Jays, not the A's. And he had the last name correct for the Braves, but chose the wrong first name. Well, nickname. Andruw was the slam dunk answer.

I had basically the same grid as Jolly, but for some reason, when I was picturing Francoeur, the only name that came to mind was Jarrod Saltalamacchia. I ended up getting 8/9, then watched this video, and got irritated that I was thinking of an entirely different person.
I would have bet my dog that Ender Inciarte had a GG with Arizona.
Should be bonus points for a unique guess, if you guess a player and no one else guess them you get an extra point

It's ironic that you guys kept using Andruw Jones as the Atlanta gold glover, when Greg Maddux won more Gold Gloves than anyone ever.
In case this hasn’t been made clear: When you have a cell with two season stats/awards (like 100+ RBI season and Gold Glove here), I believe the player merely had to have both in their career. They don’t have to happen in the same season.

That bottom right one is actually so easy like just name a good player who was good at fielding additionally especially pre advanced fielding metrics being good in general could make you win a gold glove like for example Barry bonds

You should have to pick the player that fits the criteria with the highest WAR for extra points.
The regular grid game is more fun because it has more Jolly.
The paper grids had that fun chatter between the guesses- I like that!
I appreciate there being the database here and being able to fish for names, but the chatter is what made these videos more fun.
Also it would be nice if you could uncap the guesses.
Great game, but it should be timed to see how quickly it can be completed, not based on a limited number of guesses
