Whenever the Braves are here (I'm a Braves fan,) I have a self imposed policy of going sicko. For the 14th grid I did Chase d'Arnaud (ATL-PIT), Henry Blanco (TOR-ATL), and Chris Johnson (.300 BA)

A good modern sicko one for the July 10th Cleveland/Twins one and the one that came to my mind first as a Twins fan was Eddie Rosario, since he played like half a year in Cleveland before he joined the Braves

I think once he learns you don’t have to type out the entire name to select them speedgrid times will greatly decrease

The first baseball game I ever watched was game 7 of the 1986 Series with my uncle.
I was a Mets fan basically until Strawberry left, though I still watched the Cubs on WGN, Braves on TBS, and my native Tigers on our local Pass Network.
So when I see Mets-Dodgers, Mets-Yankees, Mets-Phillies, it's an automatic Straw, Gooden, Dykstra for me. I have a much harder time coming up with more recent connections like Bailey does quickly.

That one was sneaky hard. I picked Beltre thinking his 04 season was a slam dunk, turns out it was right but he had EXACTLY 200 and it was the only Dodger season like that this century. Kinda crazy
I showed this game to my dad and now he fills out 3 boards a day with all diffrent players, and almost never gets a score over 50. The first time he played he guessed Claudell Washington and he was a 0.2 percent. Old people are great at this game.

a few memory tricks I've put together to help when I'm stuck on a "played for teams x and y":
a) both team nicknames are animals: Edwin Jackson
b) both team nicknames start with A or G: Scott Kazmir
c) both team nicknames include a color: David Wells
d) both teams are currently AL East teams: Steve Pearce
e) both teams are currently AL West teams: Mark McLemore
f) both teams are currently NL Central teams: Cesar Izturis
g) both teams are currently NL West teams: Steve Finley
That will only get you ~75 of the ~400 possible team combos, but they've been good for me to fall back on if i get stuck :)

For some perspective, my high score on these is 5 and I struggle to consistently get more than 3. You are a god of baseball knowledge.
