My daughter's first bear hunt

My 13 year old daughter takes her very first animal (Black Bear) with her PSE Beast in the peace country of Alberta.

Great job to both of you! Congrats, it is a wonderful thing that we teach our kids the nobel sport of hunting. I have hunted with many groan men that fell apart when a bear showed himself and she was a cool as a rock. My son Michael also took a bear this fall but with a rifle not a bow, he is ten now, when he gets a little bigger he should be able to pull enough weight to kill a bear with a bow.
