This still breaks my heart. I will always see this as the Mirage!! Hard Rock will NEVER be as elegant and beautiful as the Mirage. I will always miss it. Stayed there every time I came to Vegas from the time it opened. 😢
Yes, IMO (and I'm sure many others) definitely think they should move F1 off strip. They're acting like the world revolves around them! I really don't want to come off negative, but I get upset seeing all the locals and businesses suffer especially as we love vegas so much. Another fantastic video guys 🙌 thank you.
The city instigated and wanted it. It should be faster to setup and pull down after year one. Vegas is one of many street circuit events around the world that affect streets for weeks to ready and pull down.

Especially when they could care less how to work with the city to plan a workable way for all the employees to get to work without being hours late that work in the corridor. Everything was a mess, and it still is. And that isn’t even counting the set up and take down. 😊
The Hard Rock has barely started construction and people somehow know thats its going to be inferior to the Mirage. Maybe the new nostradomous is good at predicting things but there's still no way of making that call this early in the game.
I’ve been to hard rock in Florida and if it’s like that, it’ll be much better than mirage. Mirage’s last few years were nothing special honestly. Hard rock will compete with Caesar’s, bellagio, Venetian, etc. Mirage was competing with Paris, treasure island, and even flamingo

If most people that live in Vegas don't go to the Strip that often anyway, why all the hate on F1? Because if I lived there (which I'm thinking about in 2025) I would just avoid it around the time of the actual race. We were there last year and what was left didn't bother us as we walked around the Strip. Regardless always quality video and hoping I can get down for a Vegas trip in December. Stay safe. Alot of fun. No problems on Freemont St. I was there last Halloween 🎃 Freemont St. has alot for Free too. Several live bands playing year round. Stay away from the Strip though. Alot is blocked off etc. on the Strip already for that damn F1 race 😮

Sucks u can watch the bellagio fountains and some sidewalks are closed but I go to Vegas a few times a year so I’ve already done all the sightseeing stuff. I’m staying at park mgm since I’m comped there. Mainly going for Thursday night football and pai gow poker
The pylons I believe are F1 lighting structures. I am not local and don't know if F1 passes in front of the Mirage though so I could be wrong. (I do see lights though) 🙃
There’s always congestion all around the strip and city over all. It’s all part of Las Vegas and not F1 fault. Plenty of events shut down downtown for same amount of time several times a year. It’s the cities fault for having crappy ground transportation, not expanding the monorail or adding tram system like other major cities has like Phoenix and Denver, etc.
Hi i have a question booked my free comp room for MGM Grand after booking and buying my flight i realized i booked for F1 week . really want to go to the Neon city festival on the 22nd. Do you have ideal if busses are going to Fremont during the days of the race.
Move F1 please!!! Don't build the stadium on trop prop!!! People are still leaving Dodger stadium several hours after Dodgers won tonight!!!! That would be pure stupidity having a huge stadium on the strip!
We fly up to LV every few years for our November wedding anniversary but have cancelled the trips until this F1 crap is over. I saw, thanks to you and some other LV UA-camrs, how badly F1 was screwing up the very part of the strip that we love the most. Until the F1 nonsense is done we are spending our vacation time and money elsewhere.
I've never watched F1, so I know basically nothing about it other then they race in Monaco. So my question is, other than in Monaco where they also pretty much close down all the main streets and completely disrupte the whole city(not much choice in Monaco given the size and location) like in Vegas, do they do that in every city they visit?? If not, then MOVE IT to a spot where it doesn't negatively impact EVERYONE (but the ultra wealthy) visiting, and living there!!!!
They do but this is apparently the biggest and longest track in the circuit. Thus creating the most traffic headaches for everyone working and navigating the strip.
Singapore, Baku, Jeddah, Melbourne, Miami, Monaco, Vegas, and Canada are all F1 tracks that are street or street-ish races (read not a permanent road course structure).
Totally agree move F1 to the speedway. Its one of the best multi purpose facility I have seen. I was just there last weekend for Cup & Xfinity race. Shocked they are not using it with all the space. Been to other Nascar tracks and LV is awesome. Of course nothing will beat Daytona
@@paulgerrard9227 there plenty space out there to incorporate F1. They can use bull pit area, drag strip area and then roll in and out of the track. There's plenty possibility out at that facility . Plenty of other street racing leagues do exactly that too.
F1 can't move to LVMS, it's not big enough and there isn't enough land around to build an racecourse like COTA and everyone knows Vegas for the Las Vegas Strip. the lights, the hotels. that's why the race is there. like other cities that have street races, it's in the most popular areas in the city used. in IndyCar, street courses do the same
No, they can't move F1 to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. The whole point of this thing is to get those rich, jet-setting, F1 fans into those casinos. Those guys did play, and there's too much money from this.
I'm not sure a formula 1 car can run on a Nascar track. They aren't designed to drive on an oval track and the bank of the track would make it difficult to keep the cars from flipping because they're so low to the ground and wider than a Nascar.
F1 at the speedway. Why bother. I went to the F1 in Indianapolis. It was horrible. I love F1 on the strip. Last year was amazing sans first year blues.

The Mirage should be restored.
Just move the F1 track one block east of Las Vegas blvd. This will solve the las vegas blvd traffic and still have the F1 event. 🎉🎉
